Cultural tourism is the subset of tourism which is concerned with the region or the culture
of the country (Leask and Rihova, 2010). In present scenario, the given form of tourism has

This report is based on the different types of case scenario. The present report will give

adventurous activity in the surroundings of natural and artistically made beauty.
But, from the given case scenario it is identified that there are varied conflicting situation
is being occurring in Lhasa. Here, from the given case it is assessed that there is a conflict
happening between both citizens of Lhasa and Chinese officials. The Chinese officials are
seeing many opportunities for the tourism development in Lhasa. Thus, they have taken decision
for organizing large business projects within country. Here, government has been planning for
renovating Lhasa’s traditional Barkhor old town district which is located outside Jokhang
Temple. In addition to this, the officials are also planning to develop Theme park on the outskirt
area of city (Leslie and Sigala, 2012). Government are taking all these measures with an aim to
attracts many tourist within city. In addition to this, for the purpose to resolve the
accommodation related need of travelers, administration of nation has decided to sign an
agreement with Intercontinental group of hotel. As per this agreement, the hotel will build
around 1100 rooms within city. The actions which government is taking is creating conflicting
situation within Lahsa.
Such conflicts are happening because of inhabitants concern with the natural and culture
environment. Here, citizens are complaining that the project of renovation will degrade the
historic or architectural beauty of their monasteries. Thus, due to this the unique selling point of
Lhasa will be lost. Furthermore, the citizens are also arguing that such efforts will marginalize
the heritage value of country.
I am totally agreed with the disagreement as being shown by the citizens of city. This is
because, all such project which firm has been planning will lead to cause negative impact upon

museum and Natural History museum.
British Museum
British museum is fully dedicated towards the human history, culture and art. The
