INTRODUCTION
Law is explained as the set of guidelines which is enforced by the supreme body of the
nation. It do play the crucial role as it warns everyone that what can be the punishment if anyone
do those work which are beyond there capacity. In United Kingdom, the power to commence law
any legal law is in the hands of Parliament. The points which are going to be covered in this file
are totally related to law where main discussion will be on two different agencies which are
helping to deliver the justice in UK. File will also include similarities and differences between
those government agencies. The chosen criminal justice agencies of United Kingdom are The
Court and The Police.
MAIN BODY

supporting agencies with their similarities and differences.
The agencies which are working in UK for delivering the justice per the guidelines of law
are The Court and The Police. These are one of those agencies which are working in one that
situation from which it is not easy for anyone to attempt the crime. In every nation it is not easy
to manage work with the hep of single body so in that situation the law making body try to
delegate the power to different agencies which work on behalf of law making body. These bodies
have their own roles and set pattern which they are required to follow for providing the justice to
those person who have committed the crime. While talking about Court, they one of those active
agencies of UK which are working very hard just for the purpose of providing true and fair
result. Court is one of those body where every single detail is required to be discussed when
hearing of the court start so that best decision can be taken to provide justice the person has
attempted the crime (Tushnet, 2017). There are different types of court which is found in the
premisses of UK and they are county court, magistrate's court, crown court, royal court of
justice, youth court and the supreme court. Among these court Supreme court is the top level of
court which is found in UK. These court have different roles and responsibilities which need to
be fulfilled. It is up to the level of crime which decided that in which level of court the justice
can be given to criminal. At the time of declaring the result to criminal the court need to take the
help of legislation and common law as it is the main body from which decisions are required to

be given. In UK, the power to declare the outcome is only given to the court. The supporting
agencies of Court are Police, the law officers etc.
In terms of Police, this is that agencies in UK which have the duty to find the right person
who have attempted or done the criminal activities so that percentage of total crime can be
reduce significantly. It is not that easy job for police to find the actual criminal because in most
of the cases they are not allowed to take strict action against the criminal as it is against the law.
The main role of this body is to capture the criminal and after that hand over to another agencies
so that further action can be taken. Even in some of the minor criminal activities police have the
power to take action on their just to reduce the overall result. Police has got the power from
Parliament House and it has been very effective body to change the number of crime in recent
period of time and because of that local people feel safe to work in the premises United
Kingdom. The agency which plays the supportive role for Police are Court, the law officers,
Ministry of justice etc (Raz, 2017).
It can be easily seen that both agencies are inter related with each other because without
the help of each these both agencies cannot perform their duty which has been delegated by
Parliament. The major similarity between these both agencies is that they both are working for
the same purpose which is related with giving justice to the one who have done crime in there
life. Even they try that to find that what can be the best solution through which criminal activity
can be reduced. When it comes to finding the differences it is said that the role of police is just to
find the criminal where as court is required to declare the result on the basis of crime and facts
which has been presented by authorised body. It is end, it can be easily said that court and police
have to support each other for the effective outcome in future.

It is very necessary that new agencies are being formed so that activities which are being
carried out to reduce the percentage of crime can be implemented effectively. In the basis of
crime rate it is found that government have tried their best to bring new strategies through which
it can be handled. It is not that easy for these agencies to manage the work load that easily
because it found that every time the level of crime is different from the prevision one so that it is
the responsibility of those agencies that how plans and policies can be formed so that result can
be changed (Crime Record in UK, 2018). Although, it is seen that results are different from the

previous one and because of that percentage of crime rate has reduced. So, it can be easily said
that these agencies are working effectively since the day of incorporation.
P7 How this statistics and data can be used to measure justice and how it can help in future to
formulate new policies.
The reason behind maintaining the records of any data and states is to compare the
outcome from the previous result which is already collected. When comparison is done it is
required to be checked that whether policies are helpful or not and they are not effected it is to be
checked that how they can be more effective in future (Black, 2018). At the time of commencing
new act which are related from prevision result then it become more effective because law can be
based upon the week points so that improvement can be done easily. Even it will help the
agencies which need to give appropriate justice that how they should prepare their plan for future
should that more productive results can be obtained.
M2 Explore and evaluate the different ways of measuring the effectiveness of statistics.
There are different ways through which policies are formed but the main thing which
need to be checked is that how well they are for the general public. It can be easily checked form
the data which has been collected. The data will show the fair report regarding effectiveness of
statistics. Even there are several method which helps to evaluate the effectiveness of statistics but
in simple terms it can be done only through the outcome because comparison can be done easily
in this situation (Moors, 2018). The power which has been delegated to different agencies are
helpful because it helps to work freely and easily and even these bodies can tell that what are the
main area where changes are required to be done so that better results can be obtained in future.

The data which are collected to find the outcome shows that government agencies like
Police, court etc. have accurate and up to date. The main reason behind the accurateness of the
data is the method which they uses to collect crime records. Data entry system is the primary
source of collecting data where report are collected from the evidences which are found by those
those agencies who work on regular basis (Barkan, Bintliff and Whisner, 2015). The second
reason behind the reliability of the data is that, only authorised agencies have the permission to
collected the data due to which the chances of error are very less. At the end, it can be easily by
looking the paragraph that statistics and data are real and up to the data.

CONCLUSION
It can be understood that law and legal system has its own importance because it doesn't
allow anyone to take those decision through which negative influence can be created in the
society. In UK, laws have been commenced and to check whether they are being followed or not
different agencies are formed like Police, Court etc. These both agencies have the similar role
which is related to provide justice to the criminal. The work of evaluating helps to check whether
there is any requirement of changes in the law or not.
