Social media marketing is the form of internet marketing which includes creating and
sharing content on social media networks in respect to accomplish marketing and branding goals.
Social media marketing play significant role in respect to promote the products and services. It
lead to increase the sales and profitability of the company. There are different ways which can be
used by the company to promote the products with the use of social media marketing, as it is
important to make sure to whom company is targeting. The present report is based Wizzair
which is one of the leading company. The organisation effectively used social media such as
Facebook, twitter etc in order to promote its products and services. In the present report the way
organisation used to social networking sites for market the products and services is discusses.
Apart from this, how relevant social media platform is for the modern marketing concepts is
critically evaluated.

The way company is use social networking sites for market the products and services.
Social media play significant role as it has various number of goals such as to increase websites
traffic, raise brand awareness, and improve communication and interaction with key audiences.
Wizzair company is effectively using the social media tool for promoting the products and
services. With the use of this tools company has made good position on the social media
platform as there are many customers who attracted toward its products and services. Below
provided are:
Facebook: Facebook is one of the popular social networking site which is used by people in all
over the world. There are more than 100,000 people who daily sign up on Facebook. Wizzair has
made it page on facebook on which it daily post its products and services. The firm also used to
post different offers which are provided on the products and services as it lead to grab the
attention of large number of customers (McCreanor, Lyons and Hutton, 2013). Further it also share
it post with people which help in creating awareness among people of its products and services.
Twitter: Twitter is also one of the effective social networking site as posting on this sites help
gaining their review toward their company products and services. Posting products image and its
specification on the twitter help people in developing the interest toward the products and

services. Further company also respond to the customer queries which they tweet on post. It help
in making a strong relationship with customers.
E mail marketing: Sending mail to subscribe customer is become common and wizzair is using it
to promotes the products and services. Through sending email which is attractive and grab the
attention of customers help in increasing the sales and profits.
Further Wizzair also analyse its content after posting on the social networking sites as because
there is tool available to analyse the data for content curation before posting it. Hence the social
networking sites is proven to be effective in respect to grab the attention of large number of
customers and to enhance the sales (Tiago and Veríssimo, 2014.). Posting interesting content on
sites and promotional offer help in making strong relationship. Further, responding on times help
in making customer loyal and retain them for longer period of time. To use the social networking
sites for promoting the product it is important for the company to ensure that it understand the
way content is posted and reply to customer query on time

How relevant is social media platform are to the modern marketing concepts.
Social media platform is a modern concept which change the way of promoting the
products and services. It make easy for both company and customer to sale and purchase the
products through online marketing (Armstrong, Kotler and Brennan 2015). There are many
organisation that used social media for selling their products and provide them different types of
offer in respect to encourage them to buy the products and services. In the modern era, people
are more connected toward the internet and it become one of the best mode for purchasing the
products. At the social networking sites people can easily compare one company products and
services with other company and make their purchase decisions (Mistilis, Buhalis and Gretzel,
2014). Further social media marketing is become one of the important concept in the modern
marketing because it provide facilities to company to directly communicate with customers.
Along with this customer can easily ask questions to company related to products and services.
Further, it make easier for the company to promotes products and services at low cost and in less
time. There are many organisation such as Easy jet, Ryanair who are promoting the products and
services on social tool as they are highly engage with customer with the mobile app. For example
with the mobile app company can easily send notification to customers related to the products
and services to customers (Yadav, De Valck and Spann, 2013).

From the above report it is concluded that social media marketing is become one of the effective
tool in respect to attract the large number of customers. Further people can easily compare the
products with different company and make their purchase decisions. Facebook is one of the
popular social networking site which is used by people in all over the world. Posting interesting
content on sites and promotional offer help in making strong relationship
Further it is concluded that people are now more active on internet as they like to make purchase
of product and services on social networking sites instead of visiting any retail stores. With the
help of social networking tool it also become easy for the company to communicate to its
customers and solve their problem which they face while buying the products.
