My writing skills that I have started working on over the few months, since I have been in the
English 501. Learning about the writing skills in this semester, have improved my writing
skills, and changed quite a bit in my understanding. There are many things, in writing skills,
that I thought were challenging in my reflective and professional writing. There are also
many challenging and things that I need to improve and elevate my skills of writing that I
hope will reach to a level that will help me to improve the writing skills in future. Reflection
presented me the occasion to reflect how my personal practices and explanations shape the
philosophy and receiving of new ideas. Tutors frequently inquire scholars to write reading
reflections. They do this to inspire students to discover personal ideas about a book, reading, to
prompt the views, fairly than abridge the sentiments of others. Many forms of the writing is

helped me to identify the skills that I need to improve a little and the skill those need to gain
essential to develop my writing skills in the course duration and after the completion of the

Comparison
Connections Writer is able to identify how their own processes are similar and in contrast to
the authors, they read. I found that these writers deeply analyse the other writers they are
reading and they try to frame the skills in the frame that connects the reader with the writer
they consider to read at the time of writing. I found my reflective writing is different that I
used to analyse the author but I try to manage the reflection that represents my thoughts and
me.
Revision writing as discussed in the previous assignments is the representation a paper that is
checked to manage the deliver the original characteristics of the paper. A revision is not about
the change in the concept but is an act to edit the paper and reduce the mistakes and
grammatical errors.
A reflection writer tries to bring the a changes in the mind of the reader, that it represent the
facts on which the original writing was based, and the readers cannot identify by just reading it
in single time. I found this concept deeply evaluating and representing my personality that I
used to narrate and represent the effective reflection to any paper. In this course by the
comparison of many writing styles and skills of these writers helped me to make active
involvement in the process of skill development.

personal thinking, understandings for others paper, this course, and teachers helped me to
manage the effective skills, and this have improved and developed many skills in my writing
styles. The process I found effective to involve in my personal reflective writing style is
about making an outline of the things that I want to cover in my paper and then draft these in
appropriate manner.
Prewriting
Prewriting is the phase that demands Know Your Purpose and Audience. Here the purpose is
to Consider why a person is writing a piece and who will be the audience. Purpose of writing
is to satisfy the audience, and selection of audience is essential to manage the purpose of
writing. I found if I am writing a reflection paper over any technological development
discussion paper I will define the purpose that why I am making efforts to write the paper and
what kind of people will use this reflection and how it will help them.
Drafting
Organising the essential data and information, selection of appropriate tone and language in
the paper and including the facts that will prove my research authentic, because reflection can
be a criticism, and if it fails to collect the facts from authentic source than it can be a big
challenge for the writer to deal with negative output of writing.
Use of language
Use proper language, which includes effective word choice, Avoid verbiage, confusing
acronyms, that have multiple and confusing meaning. Avoid jargon and prejudiced language
or tone. To define action I will Use active voice and strong verbs and I will surly avoiding
oversimplifications, broad adjectives, and opinions about the data and statics.
