Topic- Teamwork is the essence of generating successful results
Introduction
Background of Case
The respective report will be critically reflecting on the approach of teamwork,
leadership along with change management which persists in dealing with a team in an
effective manner. While I was working as the manager in ABC Company during the previous
years, there were various challenges related to managing team was tackled by me and it
decreased the overall productivity of our team as well. I was associated with the company for
four years and due to my hard work, I was being promoted to the post of manager in the
company.
While I was managing the team of four members named Jack, Mary, Rose, Liam and
Hannah and with them, I managed to form the peer learning group. The main task which was
assigned to me was to manage an urgent order for a client for delivering 400 units of shirts
within forty-eight hours. However, there was lack of cooperation and ineffectiveness among
team members in performing the task and it created negative impact on reputation of the
company negatively as well. From overall analysis of the case, it can be identified that there
have been various leadership challenges along with coordination which affected the self-
confidence of the entire team.
Case Study Scenario
Analysis of the Issue
When I was working with the organization for the past four years, I delivered my best
in performing all the activities in the organizations in an appropriate manner. However, after I
was being promoted as the manager in the organization and there were four team members
who was supposed to be working under me, I was not confident enough in handling the team
effectively. The core issue caused when the entire was required to deliver 400 units of the
shirts to the customers and we were not able to deliver the order within the stipulated time
frame as well.
The entire team was disappointed and everyone questioned my cooperation as well as
leadership skills. From the respective case, I analyzed that the key issue was the deficiency of
