INTRODUCTION.
The travel and tourism is the sector which is increasing day by day in the countries. The England
and Wales have many of the visits in the year by the local and international travellers. For
developing these sector there is a need to develop such legal rules and regulation will help to
protect the rights of the domestic and international travellers. The legal rules will help the travel
agents, hotels and transport agency who are involved in the tourism sector to work within the
limits of the laws(Dickinson and Lumsdon., 2010). The system of rules and regulation in the
England and Wales will help to develop the tourism sector. These laws help to regulate the
working of the travel and tourism industries. The laws are formed and governed by government
bodies of the countries the main motive behind the formation of rules and regulation is to
develop the industry and to remain protected prom the crimes and terrorism's. The sustainable
rules an regulation help to maintain the international relations and stables the political and social
environment. The rules will have importance in maintaining the natural and cultural resources
and protects the rights and obligations of the domestic and international travellers.

2.1 Impacts of the principles of health, safety and security legislation.
In today's world the health, safety and security of the individuals and group of individuals
are considered as an important factor. Considering these factors as a important points the
government bodies have formulated and implemented various Acts for the protection of health
and safety in the work place in travel and tourism sector(Evans., Stonehouse and Campbell,.,
2012). All the acts implied deal with the health, safety and security of the individuals which
implies certain rules and regulations for the employers and employees. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974:- The act was formulated to protect the health of the
individual at the work place and provide them safety and security from the hazards. This
act helps to imply certain rules and regulations on the employer in regard of health safety
and security at work place which employer has to follow. This act implies certain duties
which has to be followed by the employers which are as follows:-
General duties of employer towards employees- The employer must ensure that there is a
complete healthy and safe working environment provided for the work to the employees(Garín-
Muñozand Pérez-Amaral., 2011). The health and safety training must be provided by the
employers to ensure the safety at the work. It is a responsibility of the employer to provide the
first aid kits and proper working environment to the employees of the organisation.
General duties of employees- It is the duty of the employee to take the certain measures to
protect himself at the work. It the responsibility of the individuals to use the safety measures and
equipments provided by the employer at the work place.
Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA):- The Data Protection Act was an parliaments act of the
United Kingdom. The DPA 1987 was replaced by the DPA1998. The act states that the
employer should not disclose the individuals personal information to anyone. The
personal informations such as address of the individuals, contact information, bank
details and all the other informations. The informations provided by the employees to the
companies should be used for limited and specific purpose. The use of the personal
