1.Document PurposeThe project charter document is made for incorporating the partner related with the improvement of the framework. The involvement of the project manager is dependent onthe success of the project. The production of the project contract influences the prerequisite of the undertaking to clear and identify the needs of the partners related withthe advancement procedure. The reason for this Project Charter reports is formal discussion between the Project manager and the Gourmet Food, including the understanding as new project chief and accomplishment of the task. The Project Charter imparts the present assertion between the Project supervisor and the Alexandria's Gourmet Food all through the lifecycle of an undertaking. The Charter gives an abnormal state diagram of the task including the achievement of the goals of the project, and undertaking asset (individuals and assets) prerequisites. The undertaking director will hold extra reports that give detail on the administration of the task, including an interchanges design, an issues log, a hazard log, a change administration design, a financial plan, and a work routine. The data contained in this archive is at an abnormal state and will be additionally characterized as more is thought about the task and work continues.2.Project BackgroundThe project is to develop an information system named Gourmet-Online and record the food orders and the payment details of the customer. The project is done to increase the customer relationship and manage the whole business from a single point and serve the customer from remote location. The implementation of the information system would help to reduce the human error and increase the efficiency of the current business process of the organization. The project is to develop an information system for Gourmet-Online and record all the food orders and enquiry about a new product or the availability of the product. The inventory and the supply management system is required to be replaced by the new system and involve more number of customer for achievement of improvement for the staffs. The project is required to be developed from scratch and no existing hardware cannot be used for the development of the system.3.Project ObjectivesThe main goals of Gourmet-Online is to improve the existing supply and inventory management system and increase the satisfaction of the customer. The cost of management of the different resources associated with the business is required to be less and the information system is required to be developed to cut down the management cost and improve the productivity of the business.The main objectives for the development of the information system are as follows;To develop the information system within the proposed time and budgetTo reduce the maintenance cost of the current business processTo improve the business to business and business to customer relationship and provide new facility to the customer The main aim of the project is to improve the current business operation and grow the current business process for management of the different business operation.
