STANDARDS TO CHECK QUALITY
IN WHITECHAPEL HOSPITAL

Was developed as a guide for standards development and revision.
A way to evaluate external environment and standards
Helps to assure that Whitechapel hospital meet international best practice
requirements in UK.
NICE quality standards:
These are concise sets of prioritized statements designed to drive
measurable quality improvements within Whitechapel Hospital.
They are derived from the best available evidence such as NICE guidance
and other evidence sources by NICE.
They are developed independently by NICE, in collaboration with health
and social care professionals, their partners and service users
WHO/UNAIDS Global Standards:
WHO/UNAIDS
aims to develop standards for quality health care services for adolescents.
It is designed so that youngsters find it easier to obtain the health services
that Whitechapel hospital needs to promote and give them to protect and
improve their health and well-being.

Strategies For Implementing
Quality In Health And Social Care
Standards and guidelines: Identification of processes that can
be standardized.
Incorporating adhesiveness to guidelines and standards of
