Introduction
Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta that is located in the Canadian province. However, in the
past few years, it has been seen that the economy of Alberta is suffering a lot due to the
upcoming recession. It is because of this reason that there has been an oil crash and also the
outbreak of the COVID 19 epidemic. As a result `of these two aspects, the housing market and
also many other industrial sectors are suffering a major setback. NewCo is one such industry
working in Edmonton. However, due to recession they are suffering from a huge setback and are
in search of some feasible measures that will be enabling them to produce goods and services in
an easy ad also cost-intensive way. NewCo is trying their level best to ensure that they can focus
on the aspects like adaptability, flexibility and also focusing on product innovation (Maina,
2018).
Discussion
Attribution of the employees is one of the most essential things that must be taken care of
in this situation. As there is a huge recession, an employee might suffer from a feeling of fear of
job loss or getting less money. However, this fear of employee layoffs and the reduction in
benefit will naturally harm the employee morale and they will be suffering from the mental
breakdown. It is very important to understand the perception or the attribution of employees
during such a time. Employees might make bad or wrong prevention about the managers
thinking that they will be not taking any significant steps for helping the, For an instance, if the
manager does not follow a people or person-oriented approach then employees might get this
