1-1) Scope Management Planning
The main goal of this project is to set up the vehicle maintenance facility in the selected
property. The building already exists and the work required includes setting up various
structures, equipments and facilities as well as repair of the existing equipments and facilities
and changing the water and electricity connections. The overall project work will require
considerable amount of time and budget.
The final deliverable of the project is a fully prepared vehicle maintenance facility with
all old (repaired) and new equipments and facilities within the building.
Project Scope
In order to specify the scope of the project, it is also important to discuss in scope and out
scope as well as assumptions and constraints that have been considered for the project. All these
factors are discussed as follows.
In Scope
Modification of the current commercial building
Repair of equipments and other facilities
Change the electricity and water lines that are connected to the building
Possible small scale expansion given permits are available
Out of Scope
Purchase of new property adjacent to the current area

Changes in the staffing of the building
Assumptions
All relevant permits will be given by the government
The specified time and budget are sufficient for the project
Constraints
In the current property, there is very small space for additional expansion work
Changing water and electricity lines will disrupt work in the building for
considerable amount of time
