A case study on McDonald's”. Research objectives (e.g what is the question you want to answer? What do you want to learn how to do? What do you want to find out?): The research objectives are mentioned below - To analyse the concept of globalisation To know the challenges of globalisation To evaluate different factors that leads to globalisation To determine the advantage of globalisation for business Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project Reasons for choosing the project (e.g links to other subjects you are studying, personal interest, future plans, knowledge/skills you want to improve, why the topic is important): The main objective of this research is to know the concept of globalisation. When business is expanded at global level, this helps in increasing sales and profits of the company. The investigator took this topic for analysing benefits of globalisation and improving condition

Milestone one:_________________ Target date (set by tutor): ____________________ Milestone two: _______________________ Target date (set by tutor): ______________________ Section Five: Research approach and methodologies What type of research approach and methodologies are you likely to use and why? Qualitative Method:In qualitative method of research, researcher mainly focuses on getting information from various respondents. There is no involvement of numerical data here. In depth analysis of selected target group is done in this method. Information is mostly collectedthrough personal interaction between researcher and respondent. This method basically analyses view points of a particular individual in a given situation. Emphasis of researcher in this method is that what are their view and reason behind that particular view. Quantitative Method:In quantitative method investigation is basically conducted systematically using particular methods for a given phenomena. This method basically deals with numerical data and in this data is collected using some scientific methods by researcher. After collecting data through quantitative means, further analysis of collected data is done and then only various conclusions are made.
In the present research, qualitative method is used by the investigator. Primary Method:when information is collected originally by researcher in his research proceedings, for a particular topic it is primary method of data collection. Various examples of primary methods are conducting interviews, personal observations, questionnaires etc. Data collected through these sources is always original and consists of first hand information only. This also increases reliability and authenticity of data collected. Reason being researcher is personally involved in collecting data. Secondary Method:When collected information is not first hand but it has been extracted from somewhere else that data is considered to be through secondary methods. It can also be regarded as indirect method of collecting data. There can be many Cases where it is not possible to use primary method of research and then secondary method is used. This can happen when size of sample is very large. Such that it is not possible to conduct research through personal interviews or personal observation. Sources of secondary data collection mostly are through newspapers, journals, various magazines etc. In the following project, both secondary and primary data is used for collecting information to accomplish aims and objectives of project. What your areas of research will cover: The current research will help to know the importance of globalisation in running successful business.
