CHAPTER 3
3.1 Introduction
Research methodology section describes about structure of the entire dissertation on the
basis of which entire study will be performed (Smith, 2015). Methodology provides a effective
blueprint on the basis of which all the areas of the study are covered. The aim of this chapter is to
evaluate the impact of Employee's motivation on a firm's knowledge management practices.
Moreover, this section will describe about the various types of approaches and techniques that
are used in research methodology section. Section 3.2 gives an idea about the research
philosophy which is used in the dissertation.
Section 3.3 mentions about the research approaches which are used for data collection
methods which have been used for gathering information from the sample. Section 3.5 describes
about the research strategies which have been used in the case study and section 3.6 describes
about the data collection methods which have been used in the study for collecting the required
data and information from the participants of the study. In addition to that section 3.6.1 describes
about the sampling technique which are used in the study and 3.6.2 describes about the Methods
through which primary data has been collected for the research study. Further section 3.6.3
describes about the methods that has been sued for gathering the secondary data for the study.
Section 3.8 describes about the data analysis process and section 3.9 describes about the ethical
issues which are faced in the study. Research methodology basically provides a pathway to
systematically investigating the problem and on the basis of that information is collected for
identifying solutions for the problem.
