TASK 1 Gibbs reflective cycle Gibbs reflective cycle is one of refection model that was introduced in the year 1988 by Graham Gibbs. It provide students for learning from experience, examine experience and also allow individual to learn as well as plan things. It provide a person a good method for work through their experience (Austin, Gilkison and Clemons, 2020). It is a experience as well as situation that assist them to meet with a team and also collaborate with other person. Gibbs is a model that consist various stages as well as principle that can be applied to a single experience. In my academic life, I needs to develop various skills for purpose of getting employment opportunity. These skills assist me to develop career and also to face interview. These experience can be reflected by me through Gibbs reflective cycle. Gibbs includes six main stages including description, feeling, evaluation, action plan analysis and concussion. It is a mode that provide me opportunity to express my experience for giving job interview where I was asked different questions by interview (Mulryan-Kyne, 2021). This experience allow me to develop various skill that is important for me in future period of time. Explanation of these stages in context of my experience of giving interview for a job is mentioned below: Description:It is first stage of Gibbs model of reflection in which focus on individual is one what has happened. I study in collage where there are various companies came for campus placement. So, one of company has came to our college for purpose of placement and teacher has informed us about it. For this, teacher are making efforts for preparing us for job interview before 5 days. There are three rounds are conducted for this interview and I attended this interview. First round in this, is related to written exam in which different question of reasoning, maths has included in order to analyse aptitude of candidate. I have gave exam on first day and its results has came on next day. Second round in it is related to group discussion in which a topic is given by employer to us and we needs to discuss its positive and negative side. I had cleared this round but there is problem occur in this round as I was prepare for another topics but does not have much knowledge about the topic. By listening to other topic I get to understand topic and give my views and gave my views on topic. I present information in effective manner and also let other to speak in discussion which is noticed by employers. This made me clear out
this round and also allow me to sit in final interview. I got selected for this job which is important for me as I worked hard for this. Feelings:Before giving interview, teacher announces the information that campus placement is conducted in our college. This news made me happy as it provide us opportunity to find out good employment opportunity. I was thinking that I had been smart and can prepare for the interview. At time of preparing for interview, I realise that it is difficult to get such opportunity. This made me frustrated but demotivated as I needs to work very hard to get qualify for this interview (Fathelrahman, 2019). But there I little motivated inside me that force me to work harder for this job interview. For this, I take classes and practice daily and is in direct contact with teacher in order to learn new things that can help me to get selected for the job interview. I had give written test round, group discussion and interviewer. Before giving final interview, I get nervous but I control my emotions and does not show it to interviewer. I communicate my friends and teachers that helps me to overcome of nervousness that is important. In the end, I was happy as I got selected for the job interview. I also feel satisfied as I got results for my hard work and dedication. Evaluation:There are various things in this experience that went well and at same time, there are various things that did not go well. Things that were good well is that I work hard and get the results of my hard work but things that did not go well is that I got panic and give up on situation. I got results as I work harder and also my family, friends and teachers motivate me and boost my confidence that required to get selected for job interview. Confidence is one of thing that is required by employers in employees and is important for purpose ofselected for job interview. In this situation, other people are also contributed positively as my teachers who made me prepared for interview. My family and friends who boost my confidence and gave me hope to get selected. They also motivate me to work with dedication in order to desired result. Analysis:There are various reason due to which things go well and among which one reason is that I work harder. My ability to cope up with stress and self motivation assist me for work harder. In this situation, I have experience various new things that assist me to discover new strength and areas where I needs to work harder to match my strength. There are various new things which did not work well as I did not have prior knowledge of topic and I also did not listen to it which create problem for me (Chung, 2019). I listen to others views which provide me knowledge about topic and on basis of it, I provide my view on the topic. I

also face problems at time when I got demotivated and loose my hopes. At time, I though it is difficult for me to crack the interview and got selected for the placement. I made sense of situation that I needs to work harder and read new books, newspapers in order to improve my knowledge. This made me prepare for other discussion and provide me new knowledge I also understand that I person does not needs to loose hope instead should invest their efforts to their goals. Conclusion:From this situation, I have learned various new things that when we are aiming at something, we needs to prepare for all situation that can happened in their path of success. For preparing of job interview, a person needs to develop new knowledge and skills that make them capable and attractive. A person with good employability skills is attractive for employers and they hire them for purpose of completing work of their organisation. This situation can be more positive if I work more harder instead of wasting my time on other activities. I should not be demotivated and loosing my hope instead needs to work harder without taking stress of result. There are various skills that I needs to develop to this type of situation in future period of time. These skills include stress management, self motivation, emotional intelligence and others. Emotional intelligence is one of skills that make me able to handle my emotions and protect me from situation of conflict. It is important for a person to have control over their emotions which is important for them to get success. Stress management is another skills that is required by me in order to overcome of stress (Skoyles, Bullock and Neville, 2019). It assist me think differently in situation of stress without get panic. Self motivation is another skills that I needs to develop as it assist me for purpose of motivated to me and act positively in different situation. Action Plan:If same situation occur in future, I would act differently. This time, I am aware about my strength and weakness which is important for me in order to complete work in effective manner. If next time, I go for interview, I read about current topic that make me prepared for group discussion round. I also cannot be demotivated and control on my emotions that make me look confidence and increase my chances of success. I will develop required skills which my self dedication. I will taking various classes and will also take helps of my friends and family that assist me to understand ways in which I can cope up with stress (Sokhanvar, Salehi and Sokhanvar, 2021).I make sure that I will work differently as now I have an experience of
giving interview and also required knowledge. I will helps me to work differently that is important in order to overcome of mistakes.
TASK 2 INTRODUCTION Employability skill can be described as transferable skill that is required by individual in order to make them employable in organisation. In order to get employment opportunity, a person require different skills, knowledge and capability (Adeyinka-Ojo, 2018). Academic skill on the other can be descried as habits as well as talent that provide benefits to a person in their academic life like for learning, report writing, research as well as presentation. This project report includes employability skills and its importance for employers. It described reason for which employers are looking for employability skill during process of recruitment. Moreover, it includes whether demonstrationofemployabilityskillmakeanindividualmoreattractiveforprospective employer. TASK 2 Important employability skills Employability skill can be described as core skills as well as traits that is require for all types of jobs. It include general skills that is desirable skills for an organisation. Employers at time of hiring are looking for these types of skills in employees. These skills consist soft skills that is important for a person to work in good manner with other people (Aliu and Aigbavboa, 2021). It can be done by applying knowledge for solving problem that allow a person to fit in any working environment. It also includes professional skills that allow individual to get success at workplace. These skills are considered as transferable skills that allow them to apply for a specific job. Employability skills can be described as those skills that make individual employable. It is related to their attitude, skills and knowledge that make them able to present themselves in front of employers. Education and experience are required by a person for purpose of qualifying fro a job but in order to get success at workplace, individual require soft skills like problem solving, digital competence, communication and others (Aliu and Aigbavboa, 2019). These employability skills are playing important role as it is required for different jobs and also require essential attitude that is needed for getting growth in career. Employer is looking for this employability skills in employees for various reason as it make employees to understand non verbal communication. It also make them self aware about their personal emotions and also assist them to change their behaviour. It improve efficiency of a person and make them fit for career in organisation. Resilience:It refers to ability of a person to face as well as adapt to various challenges occur in their life. A person who has strong resilience skill can handle disappointments that make themsuccessful (Cotronei-Baird, 2020).It is a skills that is required by a person in situation where stress factor arise in life. This skill is providing various benefits for a workforce in different manner. It not only make people capable for dealing with changes, making people
motivation as well as making them less susceptible for burnout. It improve health of employees as it make them able to cope up with stress and problems occur at workplace. It is an essential skills that is required by employers in employees as it make them better handling of challenges. It improve communication among employees which is important in order to avoid conflicts at workplace. Problem solving:It is another skill that is required in individual in order to solve various problems occur in organisation. There are various problems occur at workplace and it is essential for employees to solve these problems. Reason for which employers are looking for these skills during recruitment Employers require employability skills among employees for various reason as it allow them to play their job role in efficient manner. Education as well as experience are required by candidate for applying for a job but employability skills are required by them for playing their job role successfully (Igwe, Lock and Rugara, 2020). There are some specific job role which requirespecificemployabilityskillsandemployersarelookingfortheseskillsamong employees. There are different reason for which employers are looking for employability skills among employees which are mentioned below: Connect with co-workers:It is a skill that allow individual to be connect with other people. It helps them to communicate with them and made good relationship. It is important in order to complete work in effective manner that is required employers for attainment of goals and objectives of company. It make employees to be adjust in organisation in less time and work with dedication. Positive relationship with co-workers made an employee more satisfied and reduce level of absenteeism in an organisation.
Solve problem:Employability skills are also important for employers as it helps employees to solve various problems occur in organisation. It is important to solve problem at initial level as it avoid negative results (Ma and Bennett, 2021). Employers are looking for employability skills in employees as they does not want problems occur in organisation as it can create negative impact over productivity and create negative working environment for employees. In order to overcome of these problem, they are ensuring employees posses employability skills that helps them to avoid situation of conflicts and other problem in business. Be a part of and understand role within the team:These skills are also important for employees as it helps them to understand job role and make them productivity for organisation. For this, employers are looking for specific skills among employees as I minimise time of training of employees. It also make employees to easily accept environment of organisation and work with fellow colleagues that is essential in order to attain goals and objectives of company. Make responsible choices for job and career:It is important skills assit make employees to be capable enough to make responsible choices at workplace related to their job and career. It is also require by employees as it allow them for making decision at workplace for day to day work (Osmani, Hindi and Weerakkody, 2018). There are various decisions taken by employees at their level and for this, they needs to develop employability skill. Reduce absenteeism and improve motivation:Employability skill is one that make an employee to be more independent and capable of making various decision at workplace. It is important as it helps employees to make food relationship with them and contribute towards positive working environment. It motivate employees to work with dedication in organisation and reduce absenteeism. Demonstration of these make an individual more attractive for prospective employer Yes, demonstration of employability skills are important for an individual as it make them attractive for prospective employer . These skills are essential for an individual for be more attractive for employers. Employers are those person who are providing employment opportunity to prospective employees. These skill can be developed by individual and benefits them at workplace. It helps individual to get selected in interview and assist them to easily adjust in working environment of organisation. There are various reason due to which employers are looking for these skills as it assist employees to solve problems occur in organisation and also for motivating them to work with dedication. It prepare employees for a specific job role and also develop confidence among them.
