Graham Gibbs. It provide students for learning from experience, examine experience and also
allow individual to learn as well as plan things. It provide a person a good method for work
through their experience (Austin, Gilkison and Clemons, 2020). It is a experience as well as
situation that assist them to meet with a team and also collaborate with other person. Gibbs is a
model that consist various stages as well as principle that can be applied to a single experience.
In my academic life, I needs to develop various skills for purpose of getting employment
opportunity. These skills assist me to develop career and also to face interview. These experience
can be reflected by me through Gibbs reflective cycle. Gibbs includes six main stages including
description, feeling, evaluation, action plan analysis and concussion. It is a mode that provide me
opportunity to express my experience for giving job interview where I was asked different
questions by interview (Mulryan-Kyne, 2021). This experience allow me to develop various skill
that is important for me in future period of time. Explanation of these stages in context of my
experience of giving interview for a job is mentioned below:
Description: It is first stage of Gibbs model of reflection in which focus on individual is
one what has happened. I study in collage where there are various companies came for campus
placement. So, one of company has came to our college for purpose of placement and teacher has
informed us about it. For this, teacher are making efforts for preparing us for job interview
before 5 days. There are three rounds are conducted for this interview and I attended this
interview. First round in this, is related to written exam in which different question of reasoning,
maths has included in order to analyse aptitude of candidate. I have gave exam on first day and
its results has came on next day. Second round in it is related to group discussion in which a
topic is given by employer to us and we needs to discuss its positive and negative side. I had
cleared this round but there is problem occur in this round as I was prepare for another topics but
does not have much knowledge about the topic. By listening to other topic I get to understand
topic and give my views and gave my views on topic. I present information in effective manner
and also let other to speak in discussion which is noticed by employers. This made me clear out

that is required by employers in employees and is important for purpose of selected for job
interview. In this situation, other people are also contributed positively as my teachers who made
me prepared for interview. My family and friends who boost my confidence and gave me hope to
get selected. They also motivate me to work with dedication in order to desired result.
