Job Description:
The role of the administrative manager is to handle the MFA programs of the
Lesley University that include daily operations of two programs of the MFA. The
administrative manager is the main person who is responsible for all the procedures
of the program and the administrative policies associated with the MFA programs
(Agrawal, 2011). The administrative manager also has a role of effective planning
and scheduling the events and the meetings of the MFA programs that includes the
residency session of 10 days in the month of January and June. Also, the meetings
and events that have to be organized in the mid-year and at the end of the year. The
administrative manager also has some additional responsibilities that include
coordination with the different offices of the University, the payroll processes and will
also oversee the hiring process, but this will come under the secondary responsibility
(Akhuly and Gupta, 2014).
Job Requirements:
The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree along with an experience of
three years as an administrative manager. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in an
art related field will be preferred. The candidate should possess high proficiency in
the database systems or the office computer programs (D'Aunno, 2010). The
candidate must possess excellent communication skills in verbal, written and

interpersonal. The candidate should have the confidence to deliver a presentation to
a group of people. The candidate must display correct working attitudes, especially
during the time of difficult situations. The candidate should have the necessary
requirement amongst them the most important one is the work visa (Gilmore and

Salary: $53,769-$63,984.
