2INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN A NEW HOSPITAL1. IntroductionA new hospital is planning to be built in Adelaide of South Australia. The aim of thehospital is to use advanced information system for improving the operational effectiveness of thehospital. It also aims to take good care of the customers and patients (Cohen, Coleman &Kangethe, 2016). The SA Health directors would also prefer the deployment of robotics, financesystems and patient record systems to be of the most innovative technology. Many of thehospitals in Adelaide have outdated information system. This report suggests the types ofinformation system that can be used by the new hospital to achieve its efficiency level.2. DiscussionSeveral information systems are available for the purpose of increasing the efficiency ofthe operations in the hospital (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). MYOB or Xero accounting softwarecan be used for the purpose recording financial data and handle the payroll system. Xerosoftware can be used for the purpose of hand ling financial data (Mageto, 2017). Paymentprocedures will be made simple. Then there is another aspect of this system that is it helps tofollow up any types of payment. Cliniko is a type of management information system that willhelp the new hospital to help in scheduling and managing the treatment notes as well. Cliniko isthe best solution for all types of businesses whether single practitioner or huge team(Cliniko.com, 2017). Cliniko and Xero can be combined to get a perfect result. The new hospital can make use of the decision support system that will help them to takecrucial decisions regarding any type of case (Kuperman, Gardner & Pryor, 2013). This systemwill present the information in an integrative manner so that it becomes easy for the staffs to take
