times, where the technology is changing every single day, AI plays a vital role in
providing smart and innovative business solutions to several industries (Russell and
Norvig 2016). Especially the e-commerce sites are highly benefited from all the valuable
elements that are added to the industrial framework with the help of Artificial
Intelligence. To simplify it further, the business prospect of digital marketing has evolved
a lot in the past few years and the prime reason for these advancements is the AI
technology. Furthermore, artificial intelligence has completely changed the traditional
way of shopping. People no longer prefer going to stores physically for the purpose of
shopping. With AI enabled e commerce platforms taking care of all the customer
requirements, it has completely changed the personal preferences of the individuals.
Therefore, it can be stated that there had been a subsequent increment in the marketing
standards after the incorporation of artificial intelligence (Ng 2016). The range of AI
applications varies from analysing abilities in terms of data sets to identifying the
particular patterns thus giving rise to a more personalized experience. Thus, the
approach that is delivered is completely different from that of a human-provided
approach. As a result of AI systems implementation, the productivity of various e-
commerce sites have sky rocketed. From providing voice assistants and hi-tech
experiences to chat bots, implementation of artificial intelligence has empowered the
users with several beneficial aspects.
