The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is an example of the role of government increasing in the field of health care in America, made possible by Federalism in Health Care. The ACA has implemented laws for individual issues and chosen whether laws disrupt the Constitution. Supreme Court and other regional and state courts are part of this process. Additionally, the system of checks and balances ensures that no branch gives more power to another branch. The ACA must have been adequately utilized, but it was not financially viable or suitable for all people.
