Introduction
Leadership is an important aspect that helps an organization to run its operations and
functions in a smooth and efficient manner. The competitive nature of the landscape in global
business requires the leaders to plan and strategize the operations of the organizations in such

thereby ensuring the maximization of the productivity and profitability of the company (Bag
and Anand 2016). Apple Inc. is a renowned multinational technology company based in
America, involved in developing, designing and selling computer software and consumer
electronics along with the provision of online services (Apple.com 2019). The Company
owes its success in the global market primarily to the leadership of Tim Cook and Steve Jobs.
This significant objective of this report is to analyze the case study of leadership and
innovation in Apple Inc. to evaluate the need for organizational changes in the Company and
the effectiveness of leadership observed in it.
Discussion
The case study provides details on the success and development of Apple Inc. as one
of the most recognized innovative companies owing to the leadership skills of Tim Cook and
