1. Application of flowchart in project management:
Flowchart is an important project management tool and it is one of popular tools for
managing projects effectively and efficiently. Flowchart provides a visual descriptions of the
project activities and describes those activities in details. It also includes strategies for
implementing those project activities according to the project goals and objectives. Along
with that it also helps project managers to manage and schedule project activities and this
allows project managers to complete project activities according to the project timeline.
Flowchart defines how a particular project activity is to be executed so that it enhances the
project execution while ensuring that project scope and project activities are integrated with
the project execution (Cameron, Sankaran & Scales, 2015). Flow chart also defines proper
sequence for the project activities so that project activities are executed in proper sequence so
that any goal defined for any particular activity is ensured in the context of the project. Flow
chart also provides description of various strategies that might be considered for executing a
particular project activity which allows for deploying various input and transforming them
into output. Therefore, it allows project managers to make effective decision that is required
for the project. Therefore, flow chart is an important project management tool for executing
project activities effectively and efficiently which ensures that the project is successful as
well.

 Control Charts.
 Histogram.
 Pareto chart.
 Scatter Diagram
