Summary and
evaluation:
The paper analyses the issue of sexual harassment at the workplace and the role
of the management in implementing strict and stringent rules for tackling such
situation. As argued by the author that the issues of sexual harassment leads to
the violation of human rights of the individual and it is reflective of the fact that
the workplace do not have an equal environment for both the gender to work.
This has been further argued that since the impact of sexual harassment leads to
the lower performance of the female employees, the management is the sole
responsible authority to take hold of such situations; it is the implementation of
stringent laws that can protect the women from getting sexually harassed. The
methodology used in this study has been qualitative with their focus on primary
and secondary data collection. However the article fails to any substantial
mechanism for dealing with such decisions.

The aim of the paper has been analysing the impact of sexual harassment of women at the
workplace. This paper has highlighted the issue of sexual harassment of women within the
context of higher education institutions. The central argument of the author has been
portraying the impact of such gender based harassment on the victim and their repercussion
son the workplace. The strength of the article has been the choice of the specific context
since it has been argued that higher education institutions have been one of the most
prominent places where women are subjected to higher level of sexual harassment.
Moreover it is one of the laces that make women more susceptible and vulnerable to this
harassment. The paper aims at discussing the appropriate mechanism to be adopted in
terms of dealing with this situation and it has been argued that development of an academic
council for the purpose of mitigating such issues is the way out. However what is crucial to
note here that the methodology developed in the body for the research lacks the substantial
undertaking of the issue since it is not backed up by solid data. Nonetheless, it is to be
mentioned that this paper provides an alternative understanding of the issue within the
context of higher education institutions.

Summary and
evaluation:
As the author argued that sexual harassment at the workplace leads to the
problem of lower motivation, stress and pain among the female employees
within the context of an organization and it is essential to ensure secure
environment with special emphasis on the retention, efficiency and motivation of
the female employees in order to understand their issues time to time. It has been
suggested ignorance and un-acceptance on part of the co-employees are one of
the causes of lower motivation of the female employees of the company. This
paper has successfully highlighted the issues of motivation with that of sexual
harassment at the workplace and the rational of developing a robust system of
motivation of the people within the workplace. However it is not to deny that the
research requires more understanding on the issues of primary data as it is based
on the secondary data analysis.

Summary and
evaluation:
The context of this assessment is the UK armed forces. This explains despite
number of media report and issues of heightened consciousness, there are
instances of sexual harassment in UK armed forces. What is unique about this
study is the highlight of the issue within the context of the armed forces which
has largely remained grey area for discussion, this is also be noted that sexual
harassment at the military requires the clear understanding of the existing gap
of treating men and women equally. About the issue of management of sexual
harassment, the author explains that the case of sexual violence in armed forces
is different in comparison to other cases. However it has been mentioned by the
author that due to lack of evidence of sexual violence in armed forces, the
author fails to understand the mechanism developed for tackling such issues,
hence it leaves the scope of further research using the qualitative research
methods.

India, as per the data, such cases of violation of human rights of women are quite
prevalent in case of India. It has also been argued that irrespective having the
mechanism to cater to such incident, the percentage of such cases remains
unheard for ages are high in case of developing nations like India. The author
has developed the understanding through the application of qualitative method of
research and it is based on the research of primary data collection of number of
laboratory assistant in India. The author successfully links the issues of sexual
harassment to India with that of the global order that reflects the level of
secondary research conducted for this study.

Summary and
evaluation:
According to Chaudhury, what has kept women out of the purview of the
economic sector on most of the developing countries is the lack of effective
mechanism for the effective resolution of sexual harassment cases. It has been
argued that women have refrained from joining the economic sector due to the
factor that human resource management have failed to develop a robust
mechanism for the purpose of effectively managing such issues. This has also
been argued that the issue of gender sensitization is the primary step towards
building a gender bias free world. Hence it is the responsibility of the human

develop training to the young boys about the issue of gender sensitivity. The
methodology for that study has largely been based on secondary research with
few references form the government data and statistics. In order to develop
detailed undertaking of the same, there is a need to develop further research and

Summary and
evaluation:
The author explains the idea of implementation of effective policies at the
workplace as preventive measure of dealing with sexual harassment against
women. The aim of the article has been measures of dealing with the employees.
This also talks about the idea of reasons for the issues of sexual harassment
within the context of workplaces in developing countries. This study has been
conducted following the mixed method approach in order to find the impact of
policy is implementation within the workplace. The central agreement of the
research has been the failure of the existing mechanism in catering to the needs
of the women at the workplace and the result has explained that sexual
harassment is one of the most common phenomenon in the context of developing
nations, however what should be the approach towards this is the robust system
of policy formation. However what is interesting to note here is that the author
fails to approach the other issues of sexual harassment due to the small sample
size. This leaves further scope for research and analysis of the issue.

Summary and
evaluation:
The aim of the author has been studying the link between the two aspects of
gender bullying and workplace violence and this has been argued in the body of
the literature that women and buying has a problematic relation since the
women’s participation in work has been less, equal treatment of both the
genders have not been created with the equal effort. This has led to the
development of number harassment and bullying of women. In case of
developing a systematic strategy for dealing with harassment, the author has
critically analysed the existing policies at the workplace. However what is
lacking here is the detailed analysis similar policy structure and it is based on the
case study of one single workplace which restricts the nature of the research.
Hence it is top argued that the research requires further analysis of the issues o
of number of other case studies and interviews in order to understand the policy
implementation in such cases.

Summary and
evaluation:
Issues of sexual harassment are equally higher in countries of South Africa. The
author has based his understanding in the context of SA as it has been observed
that the lack of policy implementation and institutional body to cater to such
cases is lagging behind in case of South Africa that in rest of the part of Europe
and America. What is interesting to note here is the fact that the South African
context of different from the rest of the world which already has a gender biased
attitude towards the working women. The case of analysis chosen for this study
is South Africa which is restrictive and limited in gaining the understanding of
the issue. However the author has used the qualitative research methods for
conducting this study and number of personal interviews including the women
who have been subjected to such issues have been taken into consideration. This
study explains the nuances of not having a systematic and robust stricture of
dealing with sexual harassment in place.

violence, there have been number of approaches and mechanism in the medical
sector to deal with this issues, mechanisms like protection of human rights cells
especially of the women in the medical department have been ensured which is
responsible for the eradicating all forms of harassment at the workplace which is
likely to impact the overall performance of the nurses. The methods of data
collection for this particular study have been logistic regression examination of
the chosen sample size. This research has been backed up by substantive study
of the books and peer-reviewed journals which makes it acceptable that lack of
proper mechanism at the workplace is one of the reasons of this growing number
sexual harassment cases all over the world.
