Business organisation are conducting different unites and task in context to the business
goal and objective achievements, so in context to the management of all those task and unites
organisation have adapt effective management style and approach which can contribute to the
positive and productive corporate culture (Bryman, and Buchanan, 2018). Business performance
and progress along with the other unites get impacted by the external factors which has to be
monitor and manage properly to sustain. External factors are involving the ethical and regulatory
elements which has to be manage with effective sustainability approaches. In order to sustain
and be valuable in the market strategic strategy along with the future planning by considering all
factors is important. Apple Inc., is the Americana multinational company, know for its
intellectual gadgets design and features. Specialized and Manufacturing consumers electronics,
software and online services. In this report evaluation of the management style along with the
analysis of external factors influence is done in context to the selected organisation. Organisation
ethical and sustainable prospective are also evaluated along with the discussion of business
strategy and future development.
Overview of the company
Apple Inc., is the Americana multinational company, know for its intellectual gadgets
design and features. Specialized and Manufacturing consumers electronics, software and online
services. Products of the company are iPhone, Apple watch, ipad, Apple TV , ios, headphones
etc.
history and its organizational structure
In Aprile 1, 1976 Apple computers, Inc., was funded by Steve jobs and Steve Wozniak,
both are college dropout. This was registered as the California business partnership, computer
models was Macintosh, Power Mac G5 and consumer product was apple II and ipad 2.
organization structure is functional which is also known as unitary organizational ( White, J.N.,
2017).

There are the different types of management styles which highly influence the
organization culture by effecting the employees behavior and performance. Below are some
explanation of some management style.
Visionary management style - In this type of management style organization manager
make the specific path for the employees which has to we followed by them at every action and
task. This create the articulate and vision focused culture with lack of employees involvement
in decision making ( Kouznetsov, Kim and Wright, 2019).
Democratic management style – In apple there is the application of democratic
management styles which involves the encouragement of employees for decision making
participation and aid to make effective corporate culture with positive environment and
employees higher productivity.
Coaching management style - This involves the effective approaches of employees
motivation and management. Support the employees collaboration and development with new
technology and system. This influence the development of effective teamwork culture within
organization.
Laissez- Faire management style - This the most effective management style which aid
to manage effective corporate culture with employees motivation, participation and commitment.
This style is involving the approach of giving opportunity to the employees for the selection best
employees decision from the given options ( Knudsen and Moon, 2017).

There are the various factors in the external environment which influence the business
functions and strategies. Organization can not change those factors and in order to sustain and
productive company have to modify their strategies and plan along with all other unites
according to the changes environment. For the evaluation of influence of the external factor one

2020).
PESTLE analysis- This involves the analysis of business impacting external factors
analysis such as political, social, economical, technological, legal and environment factors.
Below is the brief illustration of external factors and there impact on Apple. Inc.
Political- This external factor involves the business influencing elements like political
agenda, rules, regulations, Tax policy, tariffs, interest rate etc., at present the major Apple
business impacting factor is trade war between the US and China ( Whittington and et. Al.,
2020). This is impacting the organization sales revenue and market share in china. This can also
be risk for Apple potential growth. There are the various complication related to this factor and
impacting the business, such as import and export tax issues between these two country's are
increasing the need of alternative chain for manufacturing which can be increase the product cost
and decrease the product sale at global level. Apple trading is also influence by the Brexit, in
context to all these factors organization have to make strategic plan and utilize the opportunities
of global business development.
Economical- The economic elements which impact business activities are economic
growth, inflation, deflation, wage policy and unemployment rate. In context to the Apple some
of the economical factors are working as the opportunities. Such as economical growth,
development of the countries, economical sustainability organization can effectively use this for
growth and development but, there are the various competitors of the Apple in market with cost
effective strategies, because Apple is offering premium products and targeting the higher calls
customers and loos the opportunity of penetrating the other class of customers ( Yamoah and

opportunity for organization growth and revenue. Increasing needs and utilization of digital

the technology is rising the competitors for company, such as Samsung and Lenovo are utilizing
the technological development ant meeting the customers need and fordable price.
Legal- This involves the legal polices and legislation related to the organization function
and activities. Such as in context to the apple one of the most influencing factor is government
rule regarding age privacy, this work as the threat for apple because it require very costly
supervisory. Organization is effectively utilizing the legal factor such as IPR to protect their
products and be unique ( Cowan and Guzman, 2020).
Environmental - This is involving the elements like environment protection law
sustainability rules and standards. The developing regulations of environment friendly products
and protective actions. Apple can utilize this as opportunity to increase their values, by
implementing more sustainable business approaches ( Lee and et. al., 2019). Such as Apple is
using the approach of proper electronic waste disposal.

effectively coordinate with government rules and regulation to perform sustainable. The CSR is
the regulatory body which involve the model of ethical and sustainability regulation in context to

responsibility through by continuously increasing the profit for organization and economic
growth. Organization meet legal responsibility through carbon emission control sustainable
approaches (Nguyen, 2020). Organization in context to the ethical responsibilities of employees
welfare and development using the best employment plan and strategy. In context to the

functions such as Growth, Retrenchment, Stability, Combination (Ponte, 2019). Growth strategy
is focus on the growth opportunities and planning for successful growth achievement.
Retrenchment strategy is important in context to the management of organization risk, by
involving the method's of cost cutting in context to the management of price as per the customers
demand and to increase sale. Stability is the important in context to the management of
organization market position. This involves the management of existing products to effectually
sustain. Combination strategy is use in context to the effective management of all business
issues and growth plan, by incorporating all other business strategy. Important strategy for Apple
is Combination strategy because this aid to focus on all area of business sustainability and
productivity management ( Liebowitz, 2020).

From the above study it has been concluded that organisation in both national and global
level business organisation need the effective business strategies and future plan along with the
selection of best management style, evaluation of external factors and effective sustainability
approaches management. There are the four types of management styles Visionary,
Democratic , Coaching, Laissez- Faire. At present in Apple CEO is using democratic
management style. PESTLE analysis is the appropriate tool for the external environment analysis
and the major external influence's are political, economical
Social ,technological ,legal ,environmental. According to the US sustainability standards
organization have to effectively implement sustainable business approach, this also support the
effective global business. There are the different types of strategies which has to be effectually
manage with in the organization such as growth, retrenchment, stability, combination,
important strategy.
