Chapter 1: IntroductionBackground overview:The health care industry is underutilised in comparison to other industries. The traditional working of the health care industry is based on paper which is difficult to carry from one place to another (Stantchev, 2014). There is a limitation in coordination and communication between the participating physicians and the patients. The working of health care industries can be changed with the use of cloud based technologies. The problem domain associated with the health care data are providing security, accuracy, confidentiality, availability, reversibility, and preservation (Zafar, 2014). The scalability can be achieved in the infrastructure by deploying the IaaS platform in the working platform of the organization. The cost effective procedures can be developed to provide better services. The system is usedfor diagnosing the disease. The cloud service provider is the intelligent system which helps inproviding care to the patient on their respective demand (Brown, 2017). Problem statement:The traditional working of the health care industry does not focus on efficient management ofthe patient record. The retrieval of the patient record is the troublesome problem in the traditional system. The diagnosis of the disease is difficult to predict. The gap of managing the database of the patient health record can be filled with the implementation of cloud computing technology in the health industry Purpose StatementThe research study is focusing on providing process, service, application, and operation of thecloud computing on the platform of health industry. The development of application by suingcloud computing approach is the fundamental approach to resolve the issues of traditional working of the health industry. The decision making skills of the doctor can be improved by providing guiding principles to them. The tracking of the patient health record can be effectively done by managing the database of the records for the fast retrieval of information. The treatment of the death causing disease can helps in reducing the risks of life of the patient. Research Questions:The research questions are stated below:3

What are the ethical evidences to carry out the research for improving the condition ofthe health care system?What are sources where the relevant data on health care can be collected?What special tools should be used for establishing the research studies?What are the methods used for recording relevant data associated with the health care systemWhat are the results of analysing the researched data?How the capability of the traditional heath cares system can be transformed using cloud computing technology? What are the issues associated with the deployment of the research study?Where the implementation of the cloud computing technology in health care can lead to success?Which design model of cloud computing is best suitable for designing it for health care?Theoretical Framework: The health industry is looking forward for resolving the interoperability and communication issues associated with it by providing a common platform for easy retrieval of information ondemand. There are different service model of cloud computing are available which are categorised as software as a service, infrastructure as a service, and platform as a service. Theelectronic health management system is capable of developing pillars of the infrastructure which are named as security, durability, and persistence (Priyangana, 2015). The circulation of the patient record on the demand of the doctors helps in providing instant treatment in emergency situation. The updating of the patient record should be done periodically for providing effective result with minimum use of time. The instant treatment is provided to the patient in emergency situation and or affected by the death causing disease. Research Hypothesis:The remote database management system is used for storing the patient record on the server for instant retrieval of information. The global communication can be effectively done to handle the complex situation with ease. The pool of information helps in providing best treatment to the patient. The research should be carried out for managing the relationship between different units of the cloud computing environment such as virtualization, storage, application, network, services, and many other. The fundamental units of cloud computing technology are grid computing virtualization for managing the availability of resources and 4

providing simulation environment. The accuracy can be achieved in the deliverables of the cloud computing technology are by providing security and privacy methods to the stored dataof the patient. The critical risks can be reduced by managing the accessing of the confidential information with the use of cloud computing fundamentals. The application works in the direction of minimizing the associated cost, work impact, confidentiality of the information, and control on constraints. From the research analysis, we predicted that the health care industry is associated with the following issues:Non-communication isolation of the system undertakenOnline availability of the information for carrying out conversion of the paper driven system.No proper management of the patient recordData is not properly formattedInefficient in retrieval of information.The availability of the resource and patient record are the critical issues for the health care industry. The management of the growing resources is the critical issue for the health care industry. The fundamentals of the cloud computing technology should be implemented in traditional working of the health care system are categorised as to achieve effectiveness in the management of patient data, efficient method to decrease the cost of medical facility providedto the patient, the information of the patient should be accessed globally, scalability of the IT infrastructure to manage the activities of data processing and storage, and tracking of the performance of the industry electronically. “The centralised management of data is the major aim of the cloud computing technology in the health care industries” (Mehraeen, 2017). The concept of cloud computing is equipped with some negative aspects such as risks associated with the security of data, cope up with he changes required in the process, inefficiency in controlling the activities of the organisation in managing the data and application, development of the interface between and software and software to provide information on time to the user, failure of cloud provider system, problem occurred in updating the required information of the patient, and others. The theoretical framework of the cloud computing technology in the field of health care sector focuses on the following proposition:5
