Introduction
The title of this journal paper is “the impact of Australia’s new graphic cigarette
packet warnings on smoker’s beliefs and attitudes” that was written by Caroline L.
Miller, David J. Hill, Pascale G. Quester, and Janet E. Hiller b in the year 2011. This
research paper is completely based on smoker’s beliefs and attitudes towards cigarette
warnings (Miller, Hill, Quester, & Hiller, 2011). The aim of this journal study is to
analyse the influence of Australia’s modern explicit cigarette pack on the politics and
arrogances of smokers. The authors focus on the viewpoints of smokers on advanced
explicit cigarette cautionary. In order to improve the effectiveness of the research, the
investigators conducted a survey and collect the opinions of participants. It is analysed
that in the year 2006 Australia produced graphic health warning on the packet of
cigarette and the authors provided in-depth analysis about the research topic.
Critique
According to the authors, almost 17% of the Australian consumers smoke a
cigarette and more than 15000 individual die due to tobacco related disorders. It is
observed that in the nonappearance of effective info the lucid excellent of the consumer
is severally impeded (Borland, et al., 2009). The researchers argued that almost all
chain-smokers are conscious that burning is very damaging to fitness but they smoke
numbers of cigarette in a day. According to the researchers, the fact which smoking
cause’s lung cancer and health related infections are increasing due to large utilization
of cigarette and many Australian people are facing lung cancers. The researchers also
identified that tobacco communities have recognized for an extended time about the
impact of smoking and unsuccessful to reduce the use of tobacco.
The tobacco provides nicotine that is addictive and use of cigarette is growing
rapidly due to which many adults were faced with health issues in the year 2016. The
researchers identified that tobacco control is defined as the term which is utilized for
identifying the comprehensive range of policy and program determines which can help
consumers for reducing the impact of smoking (Wilson, et al., 2009). There are various
programmes developed by the Australian government for example, evidence based mas
