INTRODUCTION
The organization theory and practice are related to a rigorous theoretical introduction of any
industrial organization that gives an empirical form of data as well as real world applications in
which industry can easily perform on its functions. Apart, from this organization theory is related
from the study of organizational design, relationship as well as structure. This focuses on such
different dimensions as get identify the level of organization formalization as well as authority
complexity and aim or objective of the organization (Arieli, Sagiv and Roccas,2020) However,
in respect of industry ASOS Plc. This is a British online fashion and cosmetic retailer that is
founded in year 2000 in London. The company also concerned with global, internet fashion,
retail business aged between 20 to 30 years. The company is offering branded and own label of
products and womenswear, The company also focused on distribute its products globally.
MAIN BODY
Analyse the managerial style of the CEO using Henry Mintzberg’s managerial roles
The Asos business is related with maintaining the common platforms in between the two
parties that is consumer and fashion companies. This also get involves in designing and
developing their private label offerings. The company is also getting focus on manufacturing to
the third party of contractors. Apart, from this, Asos primary target audience are really young
adults and company is become focused to providing all size at the same prices. Now, the further
discussion is about the managerial style of CEO using Henry Mintzberg managerial role of Asos
PLC (Bower, 2019)
Managerial role;
As the CEO of Asos plc ltd. They are holding a position that will need to perform and
manage a variety of responsibilities in a regular manner (Cleland, and et., al2020) However,
these are the task that will fall under the duties of Asos plc, in relation to simplify, the
complexities of the management duties, the further discussion is about various managerial roles
that is divided into three categories is as follows-
Interpersonal roles This role will be helpful to cover the
behaviours and responsibilities that is related
from interaction of employee within the
organisation Asos plc. By the help of this

interaction, the manager of Asos plc. Can
easily get achieve their organisational goals
that also incudes the figurehead, leader and
liaison. In these roles and functions the figure
head performs the ceremonial duties. These are
the examples of greeting and attending every
employee in appropriate manner(Dadashnejad,
and Valmohammadi, 2019) So, they can easily
get influence by the behaviour. The second
important thing is the leader, CEO of Asos
plc, has taking the responsibility for every
work of subordinates as well as keep
motivating and encouraging employee in
organisation. as well as they owner if big
fashion retail brand of Asos plc. Ltd, CEO
have to be, the Liaison, that have to be focused
on making contacts outside their vertical chain
and that includes their peers in other company
as well as department (Danese, Lion and
Vinelli, 2019.).
Informational roles This information roles involves in processing
of information that means to send, pass as well
as analyse the important information. Because
as the CEO of Asos Plc (Eva, and et., al2019).
They are the linking pins of organisation that
are expected to flow of the vertical information
of the subordinates and will help to horizontal
flows of the information with the help of their
fellow managers and the boards of directors.
Furthermore, manager also performs monitor
