INTRODUCTION
Supply chain management is the process use by the organisation for planning and
organising of the resources that includes sourcing, conversion, procurement and logistics. It
includes the coordination with the clients, suppliers, third party organisations, wholesalers and
customers. The supply chain strategies is made of the organisation to make the functions smooth
and it is helping the organisation in improving performance. The organisation is having the
factors that will help them in converting the material in finished goods and it is used by the
customers (Reimann and Ketchen Jr, 2017). The chain of suppliers is linked from tier 1 and tier 2
cities and they are giving the goods to wholesalers and retailers and it is given to the customers
who want the products. The report includes the developing a supply chain strategy and the
organisation should have the process that will help them in increasing performance.
Overview of the case study
The organisation chosen for report is supplier of shoe products. They will have to procure
the ladies, men and children shoes. It is shipped to the warehouse and it is made in the factory
and then to the retailers which will give to the customers. The supply chain is having the sources
in Europe and Asia and is giving the products to the customers of the organisation. The stages of
supply chain is connected with the flow of products, informations and funds. The employees of
the organisation are connected with the retailers of the Europe and they will have to reduce the
cost. The organisation is having the focus on increasing the performance and improving the
quality that is important for the flow of the information. They are having many factors that are
increasing the costs and it is important to analyse the products that will help the customers. The
organisation is having the factors that will help them in increasing the performance (LeMay and
et.al., 2017). They are having the products that are produced in the tier 1 and tier 2 cities and
they are given to the retailers of Europe and Asia. The supply chain management of the shoe
products are having the process that procure the ladies, men and children shoes to different
countries.
Process view of Supply Chain
The cycle view off supply chain is defined as the process which is involved within the
owners of different processes will stop supply chain process is being divided into series of cycles
which are performed are different interface between successive stages. The supply chain

processes are broken down into four process cycle which includes customer order cycle,
replenishment cycle, manufacturing cycle and procurement cycle.
Agent every cycle step occurs are different interfaces which includes two successive stages.
There is a cycle view of supply chain which is very useful while considering the operational
decisions will stop it can be clearly specified that responsibilities and roles of each and every
member within supply chain are important for managing the infrastructure required for
supporting processes.
Push and pull view: this includes categorisation of processes in which supply chain based on
the dependency of initiation response to the customer order or pull. That is associated with
anticipation of customer order that is involved in the process of push management. Are the time
of execution regarding the process customer demand there is necessity for managing all the
important aspects of the reactive process. The push and pull boundary within the supply chain is
separated by the push processes from managing the poll process process in a very strategic
decision making supply chain. The different forces associated includes the global consideration
of supply chain and these are related to the customer order.
The supply chain is the process used by the organisation to have the flow of goods. They
are having the goods that are having the stages of supply chain and they are helping the
organisation in the Cycle View and pull push view. The shoe products organisation is having the
materials from many countries and they are giving it to the retailers of Europe and Asia.
Cycle view of Supply chain- The cycle view of supply chain includes the process that is
helping the organisation in increasing the performance. It includes customer order cycle,
replenishment cycle, manufacturing cycle and procurement cycle. The supply chain
process cycle is having the factors that are connected to increase the performance.
Push pull view of Supply chain- The push supply chain is the process in which the
customer order is anticipated and they are helping the organisation in improving the
performance. The pull supply chain is he process that is use by the organisation to give
the products according to the customers.
Advantages of Supply chain management
Global supply chain has been increasingly complex in these days. There is a data driven
approach for managing the supply chain management. There are different data driven SCM
which is providing visibility from the end to end monitoring of flow of services, information a
