Introduction
(seeklogo, 2022).
VinFast is a member company of Vingroup, one of the largest multi-industry private economic groups in Asia.
Founded in June 2017 with the philosophy of “Putting customers first”, VinFast is constantly innovating to create
high-class products and excellent experiences for everyone. (Vinfast, 2022).
As a business analyst at VCBF, Vietcombank Fund, a Vietnamese company. In this report, I will analyze the
internal and external macro environment of Vinfast, including 5 force models and 6 PESTLE factors.
I. Porter’s 5 forces model
1. Power of supplier.
Providers are associations or people engaged with giving contributions to the creation and business cycles of an
endeavor. Providers can come down on organizations and organizations through expanded costs of items and
administrations, lessening the nature of products given, conveying merchandise at some unacceptable general
setting, and so forth straightforwardly influencing the cost as well as the nature of result items and simultaneously
influence the intensity of ventures. Right now, Vietnam's auto industry centers predominantly around import, get-
together, and dispersion. The market request isn't excessively high, while the provider's capacity is excellent, so
the tension of the provider on Vinfast isn't perfect.
Currently, VinFast is cooperating with a series of well-known suppliers in the industry manufacturing and trading
cars - motorcycles: Bosch - a supplier of automotive technology and components the world's largest, applying
leading advanced technologies in the world to production; Schuler AG – stamping line; Eisenmann – technology,
assembly lines; Durr AG – supply paint line; LG Chem, belonging to LG Group - manufactures and supplies
battery lines international standards,... VinFast also buys the intellectual property rights of BMW - the
manufacturer famous engine of Germany, a famous country in the field of mechanics and machinery. (Lan, 2021).
