Part 1: Identification of Measurable Organizational Value (MOV)
1.1 Description and Brief Overview of the Project
The management team of Globex have planned for the starting of a Training and
Apprenticeship program that would be based for the High School Students. The training program
would mainly be intended for helping the high school students towards getting useful experience
within their work. The program would further be intended to increase the employment
opportunities for the students in the farming field. This demand has mainly been raised by the
farming specialists as they require highly skilled students in order to meet the demands of
farming.
Based on managing the TAHS program, the Globex team has proposed a plan for
designing an interactive computer-based system. The program would become a collaborative
work based on focusing over three entities, which includes farming, schools, manufacturers of
equipment and the own representatives of Globex. Hence, they have requested Virtucon to
manage the entire aspect of the project by covering every necessary aspect and delivering the
system within proper time.
1.2 Desired Area of Impact
Operational: TAHS computer-based system would incur high system functionality and
would perform the operations with accuracy.
Strategy: The TAHS system would manage the learning experience of students based on
gaining precision within the work experience in relation to farming.
Customer: The students would be highly affected from the application. However, the
manufacturers of equipment would not be affected with developing the computer-based system.
