1.0 Introduction
Augmented reality is an emerging technique which allows the existence of the superimposing of
the content from the system in the real world (Akçayır & Akçayır,2017). The augmented reality
can be applied in various fields like travelling, research and education. In the education, the
augmented reality can be used for teaching the complex things to the students. In the discussion,
augmented reality is proposed to be used in the teaching system of XYZU. The main objective of
this paper is to evaluate the implementation of the augmented reality in the education system at
XYZU along with the potential advantages and disadvantages of this application (Akçayır &
Akçayır,2017). The initial investigation of this report also includes the internal and external
shareholders of the university. Apart from that the hardware and software required for this
implementation has been mentioned in the discussion. `the conclusion has been made on the
basis of the discussion.
2.0 Definition of the augmented reality:
Augment Reality or the AR is generally associated with providing an interactive experience of a
real-world environment where the objects that are residing in the real-world are generally
augmented by making use of the computer-generated perceptual information. Sometimes it is
often across the multiple sensory modalities and is associated with including the visual, auditory,
haptic, somatosensory and olfactory. Besides this the additional overlaid sensory information
provided might be constructed or destructive and this is interwoven with the physical world in a
seamless way, and this is done in such a way that this is perceived as an immersive aspect of the
real-world environment (Akçayır & Akçayır,2017). By this way the augmented reality is capable
of altering some one’s ongoing perception regarding the real-world environment. Augmented
reality is sometimes related to the two largely synonymous terms which are mixed reality and the
computer-mediated reality.
3.0 Application of the augmented reality:
The application of the augmented reality is often termed as simple as the text-notification or can
also be termed as complicated as the instruction on how a life-threatening surgical procedure can
be performed. This is capable of highlighting of certain features which also enhances the
