INTRODUCTION
Personal development mainly emphasize upon improving social and mental skills while
professional development emphasize upon making improvement in knowledge and skills through
which one can significantly improve potential in work environment. Both of these skills play
essential role that can effectively and efficiently enhance individual’s growth opportunity
(Albrecht, Moscard and Dwyer, 2021). Personal and professional development is mainly a
process to learn new skills, knowledge and capabilities in order to overcome the challenges as to
accomplish desirable goals. Main benefit associated with personal and professional development
is that it helps in managing individual learning and growth throughout their career. With the help
of continuous learning and developing knowledge and skill one can assure greater awareness in
industry. It is essential for an individual to significantly manage their learning with the help of
determining own strength and weaknesses. This will effectively help them to underline measures
and strategies through which the challenges can be overcome in effective manner. Present report
has been conducted on improving own learning and performance in this selected professional
field of interest. For this identification of strength is being mentioned in this report along with
possible challenges and the measure to overcome them with them.

Describe given professional field
Field of professional interest is human resource and my dream job in this is human resource
manager. It has been identified that there are number of career paths prevailing in human
resource such as HR Assistant, HR Generalist, Recruiter, Training and development coordinator,
HR manager and more. Among of all these I am aiming towards to be a successful HR Manager.
Human resource manager are having responsibility for enlisting, screening, meeting and placing
employees at right place (Partridge, 2021). They may likewise deal with representative relations,
finance, advantages, and preparing. HR directors plan, immediate and facilitate the managerial
elements of an association. They regulate experts in their obligations, talk with leaders on
essential arranging, and connection an organization's administration with its workers.

Human resource profession offers number of chances to individual through which they can have
strong opportunities for their growth and development. There are different types of opportunity
in this field. Furthermore it has been underlined that human resource is significantly increasing
as a profession that offers job satisfaction as well as growth potential ability to individuals.
Furthermore it has been identified that in this field there are different type of functions to support
workforce that are employee training and development, compensation and benefits, hiring and
placement, recruitment, employee assistance and information system. Human resource job is that
really involved in each and every aspects of workforce (Cowan, Clayton and Bochantin, 2021). It
has been identified that there are number of varieties for everyone in which individual is required
to have special knowledge base. Human resource also offer flexibility and involve collaboration
with employees and project team. In this field there is positive rating for upward mobility and
work stress level. Along with this it has been underline that human resource also offers job
satisfaction and growth potential to individual in which they can ensure moving up while earning
raise and promotion. It has been identified that human resource jobs significantly make an
effective difference to individuals and have capability to impact upon organisational success
(West and Bautista, 2021). This job provides a sense of pride as well as meaning in
organisational growth and development. Human resource role is an essential role which has
higher level of impact by performing. In this individual can effectively shape the work
experience along with employees in an organisation. In this role individual at every stage
contribute themselves in building a team culture. Human resource facilitate individual to look at
the big picture through which they can assure more growth in a well defined and effective
manner. Human resource professionals have significant responsibility to manage employees
those who are most valuable asset of organisation. However it has been identified that workers at
all level have significant contribution in organisation profitability and long term sustainability.
While human resource has responsibility to manage all the workers which helps organisation to
increase workforce effectiveness of company (Zacharia, 2021). In Human Resource,
professionals with the help of strategic and administrative approach aim towards enhancing
talent within organisation. Organisations around the world significantly understand the
importance of this role in company. Thus, it has been identified that this role is having significant
opportunity through which one can maximize its growth opportunity in an effective manner.
