Reflective Report
Introduction
While referring the ‘AusEd Inc’ case study, here I am going to write a reflective report. In
this context, AusEd Inc has approached me to give them right IT Infrastructure specifications
for their firm. Hence, being an IT Consultant, I will explain the key factors with the help of
this reflective report. In this way, I will define an IT Infrastructure along with the advantages
of incorporating the IT infrastructure within the business. In addition, this paper will discuss
the core IT Infrastructure factors needed by the any business.
Definition and significance of IT infrastructure in business
As per the weekly activities of studies, being an IT consultant I would like to describe IT
Infrastructure as a combination of equipment, software, systems, as well as services utilised
within an organization, irrespective of project or mission of the business (Wiggers et al.,
2012). According to me, IT Infrastructure acts as the foundation over which mission or
project-specific systems as well as capabilities are built within a business (Rouch, 2017). In
addition, it can be said that all of the software, hardware, networks, facilities which are
needed to grow, test, monitor, deliver, control, or assist IT services of an organization are
together known as IT infrastructure.
