Introduction Workplace competency refers to explanation of obligatory attributes, skills or behavior for a peculiar job that is utilized for defining as well as measuring effectiveness of individuals. Understanding people as well as organization is critical aspect as it will provide an insight into requirements of firm and accordingly develop skills(Alonso-García, de-Cózar-Macías and Blazquez-Parra, 2020). This report comprises of self-awareness about self-assessment, results attained, theoretical concepts and competencies required in workplace. Extent to which you agree on outcomes of self-assessment As per self-assessment which was conducted, the results attained were adequate up to some extent but not completely true. The competencies have been analyzed with respect to analyzing andsolvingproblems,workingwellwithothers,achievingobjective,learning&self- development and adapting to change. Score attained for all these aspects is below average with respect to other individuals. Being a goal oriented person emphasis is always laid on attainment of objectives through which overall goals can be accomplished. The result obtained from this aspect is 1 which do not seems adequate and appropriate. Furthermore, with respect to learning and self-development, I have emphasized to attain goals and this is being done by acquiring new knowledge by opting for training, talking with others as well as having online sessions through which as an individual I can develop. Apart from this, there is a need to enhance skill of analyzing as well as solving problems as attainment of knowledge or learning is not only important to succeed but implement those to attain efficient results. For an instance, as bachelors in business information system I have learnt different programming languages but if in case I am notabletoexecutethemthenthatknowledgeisworthless.Thusappropriateusageof information leads to attain adequate results by solving different problems quickly so that on time results can be attained. What is learnt from outcomes The results which are being attained by self-assessment are adequate and shows that lots of enhancements have to be made through overall productivity has to be enhanced so that within working premises it becomes possible to sustain for longer time frame.
Analyzing and problem solving:It takes time for me to understand problem but it does not mean that I do not have knowledge instead I lack in practical implementation of things. Working well with others:Team work is important when there are large projects and it will be difficult to do all the things alone. I lack this aspect as I am not open to ideas given by others that lead to conflicts. Achieving objectives:Effectual coordination is must so that ideas from others can be attained as well as shared as it leads to have innovative solutions for doing things (Howard and Gutworth, 2020). Learning & self-development:It is to all the skills as if adequate knowledge will be possessed then solution to problems can be identified easily, adaptation to distinct environment and this will lead to attainment of objectives. Adapting to change:The market evolves continuously with respect to preferences of people, technology, competitors, etc. so there also comes alterations within the working environment of firm. It is crucial for me to adapt to different conditions prevailing within as it will only assist me to sustain. From all theses aspects, it is understood that lots of improvements have to be made within me by whom I can face different hardship within organization effectively. Which peculiar theoretical concepts furnish you with greatest understanding of results ThroughtheassistanceofLPAemphasisislaidonself-awarenesswhichaimsat enhancement of individual’s employability along with career success. It furnishes an in-depth insight into workplace competencies as well as applying them within professional development (Okros, 2020). Furthermore, it also leads to acknowledge a challenge which prevails within VUCA (Volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. As an individual, identification of workplace competencies will aid in earlier determination of skills which have to be improvised to be successful within competitive environment. This will create an affirmative impact on self- awareness along with emotional intelligence.
