This research examines the underlying reasons behind the poor acceptance rate of implementing ergonomic procedures in UK workplaces. It aims to explore the current workplace environment, identify barriers to adopting ergonomic work environments, and analyze the cost of absenteeism and presenteeism. The research also aims to find an appropriate implementation procedure for ergonomic workplace environments. The methodology includes a target sample and case study analysis, with data collected through semi-structured interviews. The findings highlight the need for organizations to realize the benefits of ergonomic implementation and develop strategies for improved performance.
