Introduction:
The learning and development skills is crucial for the people that supports them to
achieve greater heights in their professional careers. This learning of skills is absolutely
necessary for attaining personal as well as professional goals. The report will discuss about my
reflection on the skills that I have improved by participating in solving complex business issues
of my client's company. In addition to this, the report will also cover the challenges that I have
experienced as well as will make an suitable action plan to address those skill gaps. Moreover,
the report will also explain about my CV on the basis of company's needed skills.
MAIN BODY
Task:1
Description of skills that I have developed as the result of my project:
The business issues in the company can erupt in any form such as while evaluating the
performance, while leading the whole team or can occur as the result of uncertain
conditions(Newell, 2020). Hence, the development of right skills is critical in order to overcome
these business problems. The skills that I was able to develop on the completion of my project is
discussed below:
Team working skills:
Through this project, I was able to improve my team working skills as this project has
provided an opportunity for me to solve complex business issues by working as a team. In
addition to this, I have also developed leadership skills by managing the group of large people.
Communication skills:
Due to the frequent communication in my job role, in was able to enhance my
communication skills. As I got opportunity to communicate on the meetings with client that has
really made my communication skills in the better way(van der Vleuten, van den Eertwegh and
Giroldi, 2019).
Problem solving skills:
The other important skills that I have learned during the course of my job is critical
thinking or problem solving skills. By consistently engaged in finding root cause of complex
issue issues has allowed be to improve problem solving skills.

Flexibility skills:
The other skills that I have greatly improved is the flexibility skills. This project has
given me the chance to understand the opinions and point of view of each staff members before
reaching to any conclusions.
What I know now that I don't know at the beginning of the process:
I have completed my post graduation diploma in business administration through which I
have gained critical knowledge about the business management models as well as theories.
During the initial process of learning I have gone through the problems related to understanding
difficult business concepts that are new to me but now after completed my study I was able to
grasp the business related concepts by hard and consistent study. I am currently working in the
TESCO company as a consultant where I provide advices related to solving complex business
problems(Simpson, 2018). In the course of working in the company, I have developed my
leadership, problem solving as well as communication skills. Due to this, now I can effectively
communicate with anyone without feeling shy or under-confident. At the beginning, I also don't
know properly about how to negotiate effectively with any person but after gaining experience
within the company I have learned proper negotiation skills by interacting with various clients in
the process. Moreover, During the job process, I have also learned the actual usage of business
theories in the real business conditions which supported me in gaining better understanding of
the business management related theories as well as models. Furthermore, I have also greatly
enhanced my critical thinking skills by taking part in providing solutions to the complex business
issues that has occurred during the course of my job.
Explaining about to which extent I have raised my confidence level:
During the job process, I have successfully increased my level of confidence by
interacting with individuals of different opinions, beliefs as well as expertise level. In relation to
this, my confidence level has also raised by providing effective solutions to the complex business
problems with the support of team members. Moreover, the higher confidence level has
supported in performing my job roles and duties in the most efficient manner as well as building
confidence level has also assisted me in initiating effective communication with my superiors
and subordinates(Yamazaki, Toyama and Attrapreyangkul, 2018).
