Task One:
Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal development is the process of improving one's skills, capabilities,
and learning in order to improve one's standard of living. It assists in achieving
desired goals as well as professional advancement, which involves education,
employment opportunities, and other factors. As a result, the ability to live a happy
and fulfilled life is enhanced.
Professional Development, on the other hand, enhances the capability of
necessary skills and information for success in the workplace. It also focuses on the
necessary improvements to reach the intended outcomes. As a result, these
innovations leads to long performance and advancement.
Description and discussion of the value of short term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
Setting a goal is a crucial step toward achieving desired objectives. Short-
term goals are defined as those that last less than a year. These objectives boost
morale and competitive spirit, making it more likely to meet lengthy objectives. Some
of these are mentioned below.
Possessing interpersonal skills
Being skilled at time management
Being able to manage stress and work pressure
Description and discussion of the value of medium term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
Medium-term goals are all those that must be accomplished within Eighteen months
to three years. These goals must be assessed on a regular basis to ensure their high
quality; otherwise, they will lead to dissatisfaction and inability to achieve planned
personal goals. Some of these are discussed as follows.
Developing business management skills
Developing a successful legal profession
Effective when it comes to beginning a business
