Research Aim:
To identify the impact of Brexit on growth and business functions of automobile industry. A
study on Land Rover
Research objectives:
To study the concept of Brexit in context with automobile industry.
To investigate the challenges faced by Land Rover due to Brexit in their growth and
business functions.
To discern the ways used by Land Rover to mitigate challenges associated with Brexit as
their business functions.
Methodology
Research methodology is process that is used to identify, collect as well as interpreted the
information related to a specific topic. Through this, readers can easily evaluate the overall
reliability and validity of the study. It helps the readers in analysing and interpreting the
information in an effective manner. In the given contest, deductive approach is used as it helps in
evaluating the data in a efficient manner and also guide in future growth of research. In terms of
research design, descriptive research design is selected in present context in order to collect and
analyse the information in numerical form. The present study is based on 30 respondents who
has been selected by probability sampling technique. A questionnaire will be prepared to gather
necessary amount of information from the respondents. Here, the primary information has been
drawn from the questionnaire and secondary information has been taken out from valid websites
and publication which brings reliability and validity in the work. Data analysis is based on
quantitative analysis such as frequency distribution table and more. Therefore, a suitable
methodology has been used to conduct the existing research project.
Ethical Considerations
Ethical considerations are related with implementation of ethical principles during the

Ethical Considerations
Ethical considerations are related with implementation of ethical principles during the
research work. While working on the current project, I followed ample of ethical principles so
that the entire research project can be completed in a proper way. The principles I followed were
related to autonomy, confidentiality and move. To make a good research project, it is important
to ensure a proper structure, design as well as ethical approval (Ueda and et. al., 2020). However,
there are ample of ethical issues faced by me during the research project. I faced issues in terms
of getting ethical approval, voluntary participation of the respondents, maintaining proper
communication with the respondents and so on. It was not easy for me to conduct the results on
the given topic as I faced several issues that will also influence the research work in future period
of time.
Respect for autonomy, privacy and dignity of individuals and community
In research, various people participate as respondents to provide necessary information
for the completion of the study. They provide the information by having the viewpoint that their
information will be kept confidential. For the success of research, it is important to consider the
willingness and valid consent of respondents. Here, respondents need to given the right whether
to enrol for the research work or not (Kiili and Moilanen, 2019). In the given contest, I prepared
a person consent form for the researcher in order to get their consent to become a part of the
study. I respect the autonomy and privacy of the respondents hence ensured to keep their
information confidential throughout the research work. In addition to this, I provided equal and
fair opportunity to all the respondents to express their viewpoints in respect of the research topic.
Here, probability sampling was used by me to provide equal opportunity to all the units to
become a part of sample. With this, I conducted the study in terms of respecting the autonomy
privacy and dignity of individual and community.
Scientific integrity
Scientific integrity is related with following appropriate rules and regulations so that the
research can be conducted in a proper or systematic way. Here, it is required to follow various
policies, rules and regulations to conduct the research scientifically. Authenticity of data is also
important to maintain scientific integrity during the research work. To ensure this, I gathered the
information only from reliable and well known sources (Boothroyd, Stiles and Best, 2017). In
context of primary sources, I used a questionnaire to record the response of respondents. In
addition to this, secondary information has also been gathered from authentic and valid websites,
publications and articles. The authentic and valid collection of research will help me in maintain
the integrity in the research work throughout the completion of study.

Social responsibility
Researchers also have some social responsibility in terms of upliftment and betterment of
different social groups. Generally, the research is undertaken to resolve a particular issue that is
present within the society. In this light, it is important to consider security, safety and wellbeing
of the society while undertaking a research study (Wilson and Joye, 2017). In given context, I
performed the research on the particular topic to develop a valuable concept for the betterment of
the entire society. This will give deep knowledge to the people regarding Brexit and its potential
impact. It will enhance their knowledge that is important for growth. In addition to this, I also
ensure the confidentiality of the information in terms of protecting the respondents. In this way, I
fulfill my responsibility towards the society during the research project.
Maximising benefit and minimising harm
Every research project is carried out for the purpose of common good in terms of societal
and economic development. In research, a particular problem is identified by the investigator and
further they identity necessary solutions in order to resolve the issue (Cook-Sather, 2018). In the
present context, I carried out the project for the betterment of the entire society. I ensure to
protect the safety, security, health of individuals throughout the research work. In addition, I
make sure that the respondents did not face any psychological issues during research work.
