INTRODUCTION PROJECT1 P 3 Interrelationship between different organizational functions and its linked with objectives of organization All the organization have many functions that are played by employees and managers in the workplace. These functions are directly linked with objectives and goals of organization. In order to that, Cadbury is the British international confectionery firm fully operated by Kraft Foods. It is the second biggest candy brand in the worldwide. Also, company has many functionalareassuchashumanresource,marketing,finance,production,information technology, research and development etc. All the functional areas are interrelated with other which help to achieve the goals of Cadbury. Human Resource Functions: It is the main function of organization in which mangers are recruiting, hiring and selecting the candidates for every departments either marketing or production. Therefore, this function is interrelated with the marketing, production, research and development, finance and information technology. In this context, HR executive needs to hire and select the right candidate to accurate job profile (Laumann and et.al., 2015). With the help of it, every employees are working effectively and highly contributed in the achieving the goals of Cadbury. The objective of company is to increase consumer satisfaction within the marketplace across the worldwide. Marketing Functions: It is another major function of organization in which managers are marketing research, creating the marketing plan, implementing the marketing strategy and determine the overall information about the products and services. After that, marketing manager is discussing with finance, production and research and development department for raising the funds, designing and products and researching about the new goods within the marketplace. Both functions are highly interrelated with each other which can help to achieve the organizational objectives and goals. Finance Functions: It is also essential function of company in which managers are trying to raising the funds and controlling of financial resource for giving job advertisement, promoting product, designing 1
andresearchingofnewgoodswithinthemarketplace.Therefore,financefunctionalso interrelated with production, marketing and research as well as development functions of Cadbury. With the help of this function, employees and managers are easily achieving the objectives and goals of company. For that, finance mangers needs to control all financial resources and increasing the funds for business. Production Functions: It is the crucial function of firm in which managers are making efforts for designing the effective products and services, so that they are discussed with the HR and finance department of firm. HR department ensure that hiring candidates who have ability to handle all activities of production division in the business (Palomero-Gallagher and et.al., 2015). Finance department ensure that rising the appropriate funds for producing the products and services of Cadbury. With this function, workers and managers are easily achieving the objectives and goals of business. Production department is also linked with the research and development function in terms of creating and producing the new products within the marketplace. Research and Development: In this function, employees and managers are investigated and studied about new product and services in the business. With the function, easily achieving the objectives of Cadbury. This function is also interrelated with all the activities of organization. P4 The positive and negative impact of the macro environment factors Political factor:-Its important to have a political stability for the organisation. From changing the context and tax policies, trade policies and restrictions to the business. It affects the sales and manufacturing of the cad bury. Political factor of the organisation. It determines the extent of the government may influence the economy and organisation. It includes all the tax policies, trade tariffs and fiscal policy of the Cadbury. The positive impact of political factor is when the government is stable than it gives stability to the organisation in somany ways such as the policies and rules are remained same. The negative factor for the Cadbury is if the tax policies are changed from that it increase the tax rate from which it affects the profitability of the organisation thanthe customers have to pay more for the chocolates(Palomero-Gallagher and et.al., 2015.). Example:- if the tax is increase by 10% than the price of chocolates will be increase. 2

Negative impact of the social factor on the Cadbury is its difficult to fulfil the demand of consumersand manufactured the productsaccordingtothetasteandp[referenceof the customers. Example:- Cadbury focuses on improving its products according to the current taste, preferences and trends in the market. Technological factor:-The factor pertain to the day by day innovation in the technology that may easily affect the operations and manufacturing of the Cadbury. It includes all the research, automation and development of the products. The positive impact of the technological factor on the Cadbury is when allthe technology changes are accepted than its easy for employees to work in the organisation. Negative factor for Cadbury is it increase the labour cost and provided training and learning classes to the employees which consume so much time(Westman. 2018). Example:- Cadbury utilise new technology to achieve competitive advantage such as social media marketing. 3
Legal factor:-This factor has both the external and internal sides. There are so many and certain laws which affect the organisation in so many ways. It includes the laws and policies which Cadbury has to maintain. When the manufacturing plant is implementing than its important to follow allthe laws and regulation of the government. The positive impact of legal factor for Cadbury is it provide health and safety law to the customers and the negative impact is sometimes its difficult to maintain a policy. Example:- Cadbury fulfil all the legal requirements to perform each and every business activities such as follows the employment laws, providing minimum wages and lease to their employee. Environmental factor:-This factors includes all the environmental factors which determined the greenery of the environment that the products of the Cadbury is not harmful for the environment. The positive impact of environmental factor on Cadbury is that company can make reusable refers of the products which make a good brand image in the market and negative factor is if the products are not usable and affect the weather and environment than it makes an negative brand image of the Cadbury(Policy. 2016.). Example:- Cadbury effectively develop and implement CSR policies for conducting business activities effectively without harming the environment. 4
