1.0 INTRODUCTION
Business environment designates the organization, total amount of employees and external
forces that impacts the industry and also its production. Business environment gets effects by the
factors which are financial, technological, government, cultural which are all external forces.
Business environment comprises with customers which may be individual or group,
management, competitions, media, legal legislations, courts and other founding which are
working outside world. Business environment includes several internal and external factors such
as suppliers, customers, employees, customer needs and desires, activities by government,
innovation, market trends, management economic changes and many more. Therefore when all
such factors affects the company whether it is directly or indirectly it influences the decision of
business organizations (Berger, R., Barnes, B.R. and Silbiger, A., 2020). There are several types
of business environment is available such as micro environment or macro environment all these
factors helps to identify the opportunities for business, increases overall performance, growth
and development, supports in planning, tapping useful resources and also profitability for the
business organization. The report is containing different types of organizations and its purpose
such as private sectors, public sectors or voluntary sectors and has their legal structure. Business
organizations have different types of organizations which have different sizes and its scope
which helps to identify the internal and external factors which impact the business in a positive
or negative way.

2.1 Background of the Apple.
Apple is an American technological organization which is multinational in nature. It is one of the
biggest company in the US which provides a competition with Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook or
Google. The company is introduced in 1977 by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Woznaik.
The company is Public limited Company and located in California, USA. It is focusing on
designing, creating and sales computer software, consumer electronics, and online services.
Basically it is mostly recognized for its smartphones and tablets in the whole world. The
company is totally focused to expand their business throughout the world in order to this they are
using countless number of different strategies which helps to expand its presence for the business

in international market, it is not limited to foreign importing and outsourcing, foreign licensing,
exporting or foreign direct investment.
The products and services: Apple categorized their business areas into various sections iPad,
Mac, Apple, watch iPhone, Apple TV, iCloud, iPhone iOS, OX, as well as watch OS operating
systems, Apple pay and includes other range of services accessories and support offerings.
Services provided like Apple news, Apple card, Apple music, Apple fitness, Apple TV, Apple
one and many more.
The size and scope of the organization: Apple Company recognized as the largest organization in
the world and its current market capitalization is $508 billion. The scope of the respective organization is
very large as its focus on designing manufacturing and promoting its mobile phones on mobile devices,
portable digital music players or personal computers (Buzatu and et. al., 2020). Along with this it
includes a variety of services which is related to networking solutions, software, applications, accessories
and third-party digital content.
Vision, mission and objectives of Apple:
The vision of the companies is to provide best products on the universe and to leave the world
better than found. As it provides a future path for the organization in order to satisfy the
conventional features of ideal organization.
The mission of the company is to deliver the best products and services which is innovative and
technologically used throughout the world. It is also focusing on to defense the environment and
make sure about the health and safety of their employees, communities and customers where
they have their establishments.
The main objective of the organization is to achieve the Stellar products and services at those
prices which signifies the best significance to the shareholders and customers.
The organizational and its legal structure: One of the biggest company in the world has lots of
legal structure to operate their business function in a proper way (Blancaflor and et. al., 2020,
September). Corporate governance is one of the legal structure of the respective company where
peoples deal with their shareholders to ensure that strategies have been fulfilled by the company

that they want to accomplish as well as for the society it takes responsibility and ensures that
they create a healthy environment for their employees and structures.
Stakeholders: Stakeholders which includes employees, business partners, environmental groups,
customers, suppliers, competitors, government (Brennan, R., 2020). Employees are very
important stakeholder for the Apple.
It has been analyzed that Apple is one of the largest company which delivers tough
competition to many companies. They signifies on quality of products and services rather than
prices even its high. It has been identified from above is that size and scope of company is very
large as it offers varieties of products to its customers. The legal structure of company is
corporate governance where they does not ignore the importance of employees and focus always
on creating healthy atmosphere.
2.2 Background of the BBC.
The British Broadcasting Corporation or BBC is a statutory corporation in the UK. It has
its headquarters in Westminster London. The company recognized as the oldest national
broadcaster throughout the world. The British broadcasting corporation founded under Royal
charter. The company established in October 1922 as British broadcasting company and in
January 1927 as British broadcasting corporation. This company falls under mass media
industry.
The products and services: The products and services of the respective organisation delivers 25
public services in the country, sixteen radio stations, eight television channels and an online or
red button interactive services. They run their business with other broadcasting partners also.
The size and scope of the organization: A great investment is done by annual television
licensing fees which is paid by those who was live television transmission or on TV sets on such
devices as computers. It has a great scope in which it delivers five radio networks which includes
to serve popular music to news and information services or other national television services in
Britain.
Vision and Mission: They are likely to deliver the best innovative and creative solutions by
sourcing numerous material and stories that actually matter. They are likely to approach each
customer mission in order to provide insight that will enables brand, audiences and broadcasters.

Objectives: The main objective is to serve all the clients through the impartial and distinctive,
provision of high quality result and services which educate, inform as well as entertain.
The organizational and its legal structure: It is the public service broadcaster in Britain. The
legal structure of company is statutory corporation which is not dependent from direct
government intervention with its doings.
Stakeholders: Internal stakeholders which includes manager, shareholders, employees and
external stakeholders are suppliers, customers, society or government.
It has been analyzed that BBC come under mass media industry. They aim with deliver
the high quality services which embraces entertainment, information, and education. The
company is independent from direct intervention of government. As it is dealing with
broadcasting partners they provide lots of services like several radio stations or TV channels.
They are mainly focusing on innovation and creation.
2.3 Background of the ARC
American Red Cross or ARC is a company which is voluntary in nature. It is a nonprofit
organization which focuses on to deliver services such as disaster preparedness education,
emergency assistance, or disaster relief in the United States of America. This company is
introduced in the 1881 by Clara Baton. It has it’s headquarter in Washington, USA. The
respective organisation expanded its business beyond disaster relief and military support, help
people prepare for emergencies working to enhance community suppleness which includes two
world wars, first federal charter and many more.
The products and services: Lifesaving blood, military families, disaster relief, international
services and many more.
The size and scope of the organization: The voluntary organization is created on the increasing
varieties of organizations and groups (Genkin, E. and Et.al., 2020). As it is a very well-known
organization in the US it is recognized by its name and logos.
Vision, mission and objectives: The main objective is to prevent the public who is suffering
from some disaster also helps in protecting in the conflicts and emergencies.
