Executive summary
Title Boxing Club is a company that provides non-combat heavy bags Boxing, Kickboxing
lessons, and training sessions. The company has 183 branches across the U.S. More than
2000 employees of different ages working in the company, and male and female trainers
distributed across the different locations are working to provide the best training for members
The company is conducting a project which consists of an arranged quiz show that all
employees involved participate in as groups in a game where the male and female are
involved together to avoid some of the problems that have occurred, which could also happen
in the future. As well as to impose gender-fair treatment and reduces turnover. One of the
problems that the organization began to notice related to gender discrimination, firstly
conflicts and misunderstanding between the two parties, secondly the participants do not
want to train with a female trainer but rather prefer male trainers because they believe that
they are the best. Furthermore, some females in the organization were exposed to positions or
words that made them feel that they have no value in the company, and this may lead to an
increase in turnover. This project will help the company to gradually solve these problems.
The greatest advantage of the project is to eliminate discrimination based on sexism within
our boxing company. This leads to male and female employees accepting each other and
appreciating each other's work and reducing conflict and negative atmosphere in the
workplace. Moreover, the project will contribute to increasing employee motivation and their
sense of appreciation and respect within the company. This also might help them to apply
what they learned during the project in their real-life situations. It is also worth noting that
this project will leave a good reputation for the company in society as a company that
supports gender justice. The number of participants in the courses will increase, and it will
attract many employees wishing to join the company, especially females.
Since the project is new and need to be improved they are risks can appear such as employees
within the company might not willing to change their attitude and way of thinking, possible
arguments if a team loses and the desire to blame the other team member, members may be
less motivated to work with the project after a certain period, and employees might leave the
company because of the arising issues when participating in the solution process. However,
all these risks can be avoided if everyone cooperates to participate in the solution process and
understand the value of the project.
The report discusses the business case starting from the background which includes general

report focuses on the possibilities and alternatives in order to resolve the identified necessity
to reduce discrimination between male and female workers within the organization. This
includes teaching mandatory classes to be aware of the existing discrimination, "sharing-
cycle", organize regularly group activities, implementation of role plays. Then, expected
benefits/profits were discussed this part indicates that the project will deliver to the
organization the elimination of the discrimination since this is what the project mainly aims
at. The company will also be provided with various benefits after implementing this project.
Male and female employees are open and willing to cooperate, they appreciate the other’s
opinions, and conflicts are less likely to escalate. Therefore, these benefits and profits will not
only be at the personal level of the members, but also extend to the employees, managers, and
the success of the company. The report also shows what are the ideal solutions and methods
that should be taken regarding the possible risks associated with the project. For example,
employees do not agree with participating in the project, it might not work out in the way as
it was expected, and performance and willingness to put effort into their work is likely to
decrease and conflicts arise. Another risk that has been discussed is that employees might
leave the company, which in turn leads to a poor reputation of the company. Identifying all
potential risks will not lead to the conclusion that they will occur as they are just assumptions
to be considered while planning the implementation of a new project. After that, the cost that
will be required for the success of the project has been clarified. The report states the timeline
of the overall preparation phase for the project starting from the orientation phase and
diagnosis stage. Continuing with the organization phase, implementing the project, as well as
observing the changes at the end. Furthermore, the report explains through the investment
estimation that many costs can be saved due to the location and equipment already in the
possession of the company and most money is spent after the game to afford the rewards as
well as the pieces that have been borrowed. Ultimately, some advice has been added
regarding the problem of discrimination and the way the project works, which will contribute
to mitigating and avoiding this problem as well as its impact on the organization in the future.
Background
The client of this project is a fictional company named: Title Boxing Club. The
company has 183 locations across the U.S. From Seattle to Miami Beach, with
several bigger and smaller cities in between. The huge gyms in the style of a
warehouses are simple in design and spacious. They provide non-combat heavy
bags Boxing and Kickboxing lessons. In addition, their coaches are available for

private training sessions. The company has become recognized among various
organizations, but they still aspire to further expansion within the United States and
abroad. It is a fitness club that gives people different boxing exercises. Regardless of
age, body type, weight, or ability. Exercise lessons engage the body, mind, and spirit
by guiding the basics of real boxer exercise. There are more than 2000 employees of
different ages working in the company, and male and female trainers distributed
across the various branches are working to provide the best training for members.
About 65% of employees are male and 35% are female, and the company has been
trying to attract females a lot lately as the number of male participants exceeds the
number of females. With this diversity found in the organization, it is important for the
organization to create a safe and fair atmosphere, and to strive to avoid
discrimination. This progress would be based on a new initiative in the organization.
Moving through this process and solving the issues leads to the outcome of
collaboration and the elimination of prejudice.
The problem that needs to be solved is that the company suffers from a problem of
discrimination in some of its branches. The problem of discrimination faced in the
company influences employee satisfaction and relationships rather than progress
and income. The female trainers in particular feel underestimated and not accepted
enough into their company, lead to a potential result in increased turnover.
The overall goal of the project to be carried out is a weekly development of justice
between members of the organization through the involvement of males and females
in a game that contains competitions and rewards. The desired outcome of the
project is to reduce the discrimination within the boxing company. By merging males
and females in a team and requiring them to collaborate, they need to interact and
express themselves openly and accept and value the opinion of the other party in
order to reach a successful outcome as a team. This ensures that we strive to have
male and female workers support each other and respect one another's performance
rather than criticizing it which leads to more disputes, reduced efficiency, and a toxic
environment inside the company.
There are some necessary preconditions and requirements for achieving the
objectives of our project such as willingness of the staff to take part in the project,
provide support and motivation to them, the time available should be determined in
advance and the workers must be paid for the period they spend in the project.
Furthermore, another necessity to the project's appliance is cost. Required resources
must be invested in executing the project and, ultimately, specialists with these skills
must be employed. It is also necessary to identify people who monitor the project
progress.
