Common challenges and barriers to effective communication Organization communication is exchange of thoughts and ideas within an organization that helps in achieving organizational goals. For this, proper flow of communication is important, which help organization to run smoothly. This poser will explain about communication problems faced by Mr Fishy. Due to language barriers, employees face problems to communicate with customers. New employees face challenges when they need to face customers. Worker take time to do any work because of their weak listening skills. One of the biggest challenges for them is feedback from customers (Mumby and Kuhn, 2018). It is challenging for new employees to make a relation with others who are working in an organization. Cultural barriers always effect on organizational because of difference in culture it creates problem for employees to handle customers. Offensive style of communication always leads to breakdown communication if manger send information which is hard to understand for worker then they become defensive and their relations get stain and in result their communication suffer. Sometimes workers forget about accurate information that are given by Superior that can be barrier for them (Jiang and Men, 2017). Strategies to overcome Barriers Language- we should give employees to improve their language related problems or otherwise they can recruit workers who are able to speck different - different language it will help them to overcome from this issue. Information Feedback- feedback is very important for employees it can create barriers in the organizational communication if there is no information feedback. even body language and face to face communication can be proving a successful feedback
Edge to Edge communication- it is important to keep workers focusedon communication related to their task it is not compulsory to overload employees with too much information (Rueschand et.al., 2017) Awareness of cultural influences Employees orientation- If workers are given orientation about polices, program and organizational objective etc., barriers can maximize successfully. Employees are also needed communicate about business goals and strategies because they need to involved in this all. Improving interpersonal relations- it helps to develop mutuality in organization with their workers so they can cooperate with each other and work together to achieve organization objectives. That require from superiors to give respect to the employees, this will improverelation between suppressors and subordinates (Samovar and et.al., 2017) Cultural influence impact on communication and negotiation with people. People speaks different languages, follow diffident rules and regulations. Employees should respect this cultural influence on customer’s and then deal with them. It is important to understand their culture and talk according to their attitude and behaviour, communicate without impacting their religion it will helps them to deal properly with customer It has been summarizedthat there are various challenges and barriers that are needed to be identified and resolved so that communication can be improved (Hovland and Lumsdaine, 2017). It has been observed that there are various kinds of cultural differences that are important to be understood and dealt with. It is important to impalement proper communication between Superior and subordinate to achieve organizational goals.
