INTRODUCTION
Communication is considered as a mutually exchange of the understanding which is
generally originated with the receiver (Eliasson, 2014). Communication plays a crucial role in
the business organization and it need to be effective as communication is considered as an
essence of management. Communication plays an important role in the organization in order to
direct and control the employees. Further, business communication is a goal originated process
where HR manager need to communicate all the policies and procedures to individuals within
and outside the business venture (Galliers and Leidner, 2014). This present report has been
prepared in order to evaluate self skills by preparing the business letter, Curriculum Vitae and
different other documents. This report will help reader to know the internal and external strength
of self in order to get competitive position in selected organization.

Dear Mr. Williams,
I wanted to take this core opportunity for working in your for the post of assistant Hrc for
internship aspect. I further saw the job opportunity in the national newspaper and I wanted to
make the best for the company with my effective contribution. I have completed my Masters in
Human Resource Management from the Imperial College London. Right now I am seeking my
healthy presence in your company in order to make the best of it. As I know that the DHL is a

logistic company and is an international express mail service and the cited company is the
world's largest logistics company who is operating around the globe. Further, I am having
efficiency of proper management which will help the organization in performing better and
healthy operations. Also during my lectures for the two years I come to know different HR
policies and their implications which will generally help the employees who are working in the
organization. Further, I come to know different types of appraisals during my study which I will
be implementing within the business in order to motivate the employees so that they will be
working with best of their efficiency and capability. Further, along with the HR manager of the
company I will be focusing on seeing the job requirement and for that I will make healthy job
description and job specification statement and with the help of these I will be able to choose
the best of the candidate from the pool of individuals.
Moreover, I will be helping the HR manager in order to solve the grievance and complaints of
employees for effective functioning in the organization. Further, a decorum will be created
which will lead DHL to have a competitive advantage over their major competitors. Moreover, I
will focus on satisfying the needs and demands of the employees working in the organization in
order to boost their morale so that they will work with best of their efficiency and achieve their
own as well as organization goals and objectives. Further, with effective HR planning I along
with the HR manager will focus on recruitment and selection of employees and also if any
training and development required by existing employees. Further, with the help of training,
employees will come to know new things and the cost incurred by the DHL will be paid during
the long run of the business.
Further, I will guide marketing people in order to arrange the couriers relating to the area and I
will try to assign a particular individual for that area only. Further, this will help cited
organization in order to imprve their efficiency and will also not lead to the mis-
communication. Moreover, I will focus on these courier people to communicate effectively with
the customers so that they become a loyal customer for the cited venture. I will further look
over the transportation facilities for them so that they can make easy delivery within no time
during the office hours only.
With all such specifications, I will give my best for working in the organization and this
internship will help me in grooming my skills in a practical manner. Hoping for a positive
response.

FTSE 100 is the Financial Times Stock Exchange is generally a share index of 100
companies which are listed on the London Stock Exchange with high market capitalization.
These markets are calculated in the real time and get published in every 15 second when the
market gets open (Eliasson, 2014). Further, this FTSE 100 consist of big 100 qualifying
companies according to their market value. Moreover, this index is generally maintained by
FTSE Group which is a subsidiary of London Stock Exchange.

and Chelmsford. Mentioned institutions dealing in faculties like Arts, Law, Social Science,
Health, Medical Science and Science and Technology. Moreover, this institution was found in
2000 in London and it offers a wide range of courses which give students a broader chance to
explore themselves. Further, ARU having a healthy goodwill in the UK and students come for
study from whole around the globe. Further, college is taking both Undergraduate and
Postgraduate course and includes major subjects like Human Resource Management (HRM),
Law Finance and accountancy including three specialization MBA courses.
I have studied for almost 2 years in my post graduation course and I have done self-
evaluation will help me to know that where I lack and what are my positive strengths. I have
conducted SWOT analysis of myself and for which I have taken help of my friends, teachers and
family members. SWOT analyses are as follows:

My strengths are that I am dedicated in my and have an eagerness to learn new things.
Further, I have good and healthy familiar behavior.
My weakness is that, I get tensed easily for specific problem. Further, I am quite short
tempered too.

Threat for me is the recession, outdated study material, competition in jobs.

personal needs and demands. Weakness is my learning as I am not that much fond of financial

Further, I choose ARU as my university campus because it is a renounced college and
having all the major facilities which other colleges do not produce. An equivalent degree from
this college will give me a good job in the future in my subject related field and I will be able to
be a good wise person. Further, the campus is near to my home and it provides numerous
facilities. First, it is situated in the heart of the Central London and institution having a team of
experienced academic and administrative staff. Further, the campus is of five floor and it is
generally devoted for the teaching only and rooms are generally small because the ratio for
students and teacher is low so that professors can have focus on all the students. Further, all the
rooms are boasted up with the latest audio and visual equipment which gives easy learning to
understand a particular topic. Moreover, cited institutions have three computer labs which gives
practical teaching on practical subjects so that students can improve their concepts and
efficiency. ARU also have library which have a vast range of books with a big study area. All the
publications of each and every author you will get there. Library has certainly increased my
memory as I used to sit and read books during the free time of the college.
Further, college have a canteen which provides a wide range of food just because
students spent ample time in the college and they can chill out with cafe and other drinks.
Finally, this college has certainly matched up my expectations as it gave me whatever I desired.
