During this group work assignment, I have experienced a lot and learned several new skills and lessons. Different ideas from other team members have helped to increase my creativity. As opined by Curreyet al.(2018), creativity thrives if people work in a team rather than working solo. I have also gained knowledge about the importance of collaboration while performing a job. Teamwork requires relying on other people and this has helped to build trust. Moreover, while performing in a team, conflict occurs between different team members. This is a major challenge that I have faced while performing this assignment. As stated by Guenteret al.(2016), conflicts are inevitable in a team because a group of unique people is put together. In our team, members are from different backgrounds and viewpoints. This has created conflicts and we have solved it instead of taking help of supervisor. We have solved this issue of conflicts through regular discussion and this has helped to improve my communication skills. This can help me and other members in my group to solve problems in future. Working in this team has enhanced problem solving and risk management skills. These are essential skills that can be used to solve management issues in future. In future, at the workplace, I can approach team-work by using my creative and other personal skills. I will give priority to collaboration and will respect ideas of all members. Risk taking ability of me has also increased due to learned skills of risk management. I have studied all information given for this task and have considered all important units to complete this task. I have searched for relevant information that can support my content. Understanding the core concept related to my topic has helped me to draw a reliable conclusion. Previous lectures of classes have helped me throughout this project. For example, I have applied all information given in class lectures for completing this task. This aspect has helped me to discuss all aspects relevant to my project. According to Shutoet al.(2016), previous knowledge and learning must be connected with projects to make them more trustworthy. My previous experience has helped me to complete all tasks of this project within minimum time period. I have not considered bias information and I have tried my best to elaborate authentic points relevant to my topic. As suggested by Woodcock (2017), team members may teach valuable lessons while working together. In my case, I have always provided respect to my teammates and vale observed their activities minutely. Proper observation of activities of my teammates has helped me to understand their skills. For example, I have noticed that one of the team members can fluently speak English and it is making him different from others. Efficiency of that team member in communicating with others has influenced me. I have realized that effective communication skill is required for 2
developing a good career. Based on this realization, I am working hard to improve my communication skills. 3
