ideas, feelings, information or emotions on a face to face level. This can be in the form of verbal
forms or non-verbal forms. Interpersonal communication thus, is not just about what is being

engineering/management because of three major reasons discussed ahead.

teams is highly integral whether the recruits are from management or engineering backgrounds.
Through the use of interpersonal communication, they will develop skills of interacting with
their team members through the most effective methods as soft skills is what will enable them to
stand out from the rest. If the technical thoughts or skills are not accurately conveyed, the recruit
would find it difficult to become a valued employee.
The cultivation of interpersonal skills will enable the worker to become an effective team
leader as well and allow the formation of strong relationships with not just the co-workers but
also the clients. This will further assist in managing the staff effectively and efficiently.
Conflict resolution is a major part of teamwork within corporations and as the problems
are persistent, there must be control and this can be done through effective ways of
communication.
A resume, which is full of technical skills, will not guarantee that the applicant is able to
work well with others or be conscientious. Hence, the demonstration of soft skills such as

possess interpersonal communication skills. The particular requirements for soft skills would
vary depending on the work, which is being opted for under the recruits of management and
engineering backgrounds however attaining soft skills is a core asset, which can be more difficult
