Introduction Business environment refers to the surroundings that have a direct or an indirect influence on thefunctioning of a business. The surroundings include employees, clients, competitions andsuppliers. This also includes laws, government bodies and regulations as well as technology(Galalae and George, 2017). The impact of these surroundings might be both positive andnegative. It is important for the organizations to thoroughly study and analyze their businessenvironment or surroundings so that they become aware of any upcoming uncertainties (Pandeyand Puntambekar, 2016). The present report is based on Nestle where focus is given on howbusiness operations of this well-known food and beverage firm is affected on account of externalenvironment where it carries out its operations. In addition, internal strengths and weaknesses ofNestle as well as their relation with external influences have been assessed so as to draw a validconclusion. LO1 P1 Different kinds of organizationsLimited company – A limited organization is the one in which liability of memberswith respect to debts is subjected to amount of money invested by them in the firm(Vitalis and Scott, 2015). Finances of limited firms are completely separated frompersonal finances of the members or owners and the company has to pay taxesseparately. Limited companies are limited either by shares or guarantee. Thoselimited by shares are divided either into private or public (Vitalis and Scott, 2015). Aprivate limited company does not have the limit of the number of members orshareholders it can have, however, it is limited only to sell its shares privately. Thisrestricts private limited company in the amount of capital that it can raise. On theother side, public limited company can attract public to invest in its shares and sothere is no limit in raising the capital. For example, Nestle is a private limited firmthat has a presence of operations in worldwide basis.Charity – A charitable organization is a non- profit organization which work withobjective of social wellbeing and conduct activities that serve public interest or4
