Business Ethics2 Introduction Business is a process in which an input is given by an organization and an output get with some benefits in currency. For managing business, many things are necessary, such as employee’s management, customer’s relationship, operation, products, and services. All these are helpful growth in business as well as achieving targets. Behavior of company changes many things in working of employees. A satisfied employee always works with honesty. In this report, it will discuss about behavior of companies and employees for business growth. Summary of issues and frameworks There are so many issues in business growth, because of behavior of upper management towards the employees. There is a relationship between employees and management, which is based on ethics. There is framework for working in different cultures of an organization, such as market culture. Employee’s satisfaction is directly proportional to the growth of an organisation. Organization decides responsibilities of employees, but they forget about their ethics, such as personal virtue. Because of that employees are dissatisfied and does not working properly. Therefore, organization must follow the ethics framework for better growing of business with the help of employees. There are some rules for employees for working properly. Actually, rules are established for working properly without any fault in the system and it is the only responsibility of an employee(Trevino & Nelson, 2016). Reflection on your future workplace behavior I learnt from my previous working experiences that, I would like behave in polite way to every person at my work place. There is a different effect of your personality on your colleagues. I would do my best and behave in a very authentic and appropriate way, so all of them have a faith in me. It will affect my work and relationship at workplace. Ethical management is a way to handle different situation at workplace. It refers to corporate management, and it is not for completing targets of business, but it is helpful for meet expectations of employees as well as business in social norms. All the rules are used for different conditions for handling them in a proper way(Crane & Matten, 2016). The right approach of ethic is for protecting ethical rights of employees from different actions of upper management. It emphasizes the belief that all the employees have a right to dignity. It is not only for human but it is also for nonliving things such as robots. The virtue approach of ethics is about personal life of a person at workplace(Weiss, 2014). An employee of good character wouldbe one who has attained certain virtue. Because person’s life affects their work and it is regarding their work and it takes the process of training part of the employees. It emphasize the employees for working honestly and more energetic. A professional ethics require integrity of different things, such as principles, actions, expectations, consistency, and outcomes(De George, 2011).
Business Ethics3 I influence with respect for people’s rights and dignity at workplace. If we give respect to any person then it will reflect in future for you. All are based on the different ethical principles, such as integrity, justice, fidelity and responsibility. I learnt from my previous experiences that building a relationship between manager and employees are a good thing for business. Professional ethics refers to professional life of a person in their interaction and business dealing. A profession is requiring good ethics in an employee; it is the fundamental requirement of a profession for getting a good growth (DesJardins, 2014). Higher management decides many things for operations and employees working processes, such as timings, payment and leaves. If they understand their feelings and provide different facilities for employees then it will reflect in their work. It is so simple that happy employees give their best for work and it will directly affects to the company growth as well as outcomes. I thought every organization follow some rules for making employees satisfied at their working places(Jin, Drozdenko, & Bassett, 2007). Corporate governance is the set of rules and regulation for the working in an organization. These rules are for the different workers of an organization, such as stakeholders, the board of directors, regulators, managers, auditors, and creditors. Governance in corporate filed is so helpful for managing different operations of organization. Working is based on the Culture of different organization, which influences employees for hard work, as they are motivated from working culture of an organization. I leant about four types of culture in organizations, which are clan culture, adhocracy culture, market culture, and hierarchy culture(Ritter, 2006). Codes of conducts are beneficial for organization as well as for employees. Some rules and responsibilities of employees are defined for working. Many things are based on the rules for employees for working. As every organization has some responsibility for providing facilities to employees for their work as incentives(Rossouw & Vuuren, 2017). Conclusion It is concluded form the last parts of this report that, ethics are mandatory for the employees as well as for the organization for better growth of both of them. Behavior of higher management creates a relationship between employees and organization. As an employee, I would work hard for my organization and I put more effort in my work. Finally, it is concluded that ethics make a bonding between employees and organization, which is beneficial for organization growth. It is clear from previous part that a satisfied employee is working properly for an organization.
