INTRODUCTION
Business health checking is the important aspects that usually deals with the
implementation of different techniques for analysis of business position or condition in market.
It also related with the carefully planned objective which a business enterprise tries hard in order
to achieve (Saaty and Vargas, 2013). Most of senior employees will take time in order create and
declaim appropriate strategic goals for their business in order to illustrate underlying objectives.
Present report is based on analysis of various important objectives of Subway, which is an
international hospitality service industry enterprise has its business operations in different
countries across the world. Further, internal and external environment of organisation is done to
analyse the factors that affect their business position. In addition, effective of business of
subway in international market is also reviewed along with planning to make improvement in
business. At last, present skills and capabilities of employees with enterprise are evaluated in
order to make plan for creation of skills for employees as well as management.

1.1 Business overview and objectives
Subway is British fast food restaurant that conducts its business across the world.
Company has more than 44834 restaurants in approx 112 countries. It enters into new market by
using franchise method. Its slogan “Eat fresh” has attracted many people towards the location. It
is specialized in serving high quality sandwiches. Services of the company are amazing that is
why consumers of Subway are highly satisfied (Mäenpää and Brandt, 2016). Recently growth in
fast food industry has enhanced competition in the market. McDonald's, KFC are giving tough
competition to cited firm. The mission of Subway is to provide high quality fresh products to
consumers. Its vision is to create rewarding workplace environment where employee feel happy
and they retain in the organization for longer duration. Entity is planning to become the leading
fast food company across the world and want to enhance satisfaction level of its target
consumers (Kalafsky and Sonnichsen, 2015).

SMART objectives
To enhance profit of Subway by 25% till the end of 2018.
To open 100 more restaurants in India, UK, Africa, France countries till the end of 2018.
To increase employee retention rate by 30%.
To gain 95% positive consumer feedback till the end of current fiscal year.
To increase traffic of the company's site by 50% till the end of this financial year.
Long term goal of Subway is to enhance its revenues and expand its business in many
more countries. Cited firm has strong reputation in the market. It always concentrates on needs
of consumers and accordingly provide them goods and services. Company aims to be in leading
position in restaurant industry (Tate, 2017). Long term objective of Subway is to enhance
satisfaction level of clients. For that it invest money in market research so that it can gather
information about needs of buyers. This helps the firm in providing satisfactory products to them
and gaining positive reviews from them. Entity aims to increase number of buyers for that it
improves its website so that traffic can be improved on its website.
Short term goal of Subway is to give rewards to employees so that they feel motivated
and retain in workplace for longer duration (Dey, 2016). Another short term objective of
enterprise is to improve quality of services. It aims to provide immediate services to consumers
at its restaurants. This can make them loyal towards brand and they can give positive feedback to
others as well.

There are various factors that impact on health of business to great extent.
