INTRODUCTION
Business information systems is defined as the information systems where most of the business
operations like finance, human resource, marketing, production and many other are performed on
the technical basis that is by installing the information system according to the business. Green
computing is defined as the usage of the computing devices either software or hardware or
networking devices in an environmentally sustainable manner. Adoption of such information
systems helps the environment and an organization as well to work in a sustainable way for the
welfare of both the environment and the company as well (Bhattacherjee, Das, Khatua and Roy,
2019). The following discussions are made on the features of green computing, advantages and
disadvantages of green computing, overview of the organization chosen, benefits to the
environment of using green computing, concept of reusing and recycling, contribution to the
different external factors of the business and theory used in business information solution in
context of the chosen organization and finally the conclusion.
