It helps for using the modelling technique forresolving the enterprises problem and also making the managerial decisions. TESCO is a leading general merchandise and groceries retailer in UK that can measure bythe revenue of enterprises. It was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen as the group of market stalls.This organization has expanded their business in globally since early 1990. This report will discuss about the use of IT system in different functions of organization andalso contribute to achieve the business objectives. Furthermore, it will identify the different typesof IT system that can process for knowledge management and many more. Moreover, it willdescribe that how IT system always support in terms of value added changes form improving theenterprises operations, sustainability and performance. At last, it will cover the wide range ofbusiness problems according to the experience at workplace. MAIN BODYP1 Evaluate the use of IT system within the different functions of an organization. An Information technology system is basically an efficient approach that can applicable inthe organization for managing and controlling the business operations or functions. Tesco is aleading firm to maintain their mainframe system and database because it can hold the entire dataor information efficiently (Anandakumar, Arulmurugan and Onn, 2019). Information systems aresupporting the business operations and functions which emphasizes the MIS, DSS, TPS, EIS etc.There are different types of business functions performed within organization. Marketing and salesIt is important part of business functions for promoting their product and services inmarketplace. TESCO mainly uses different type of information system such as website orapplications that support to provide the relevant details regarding items.
