Title: "The impact of workforce training and development over the productivity of lower
level employees.
ABSTRACT
Present investigation is based on the workforce training and development over the
productivity of lower level of employees. In business organization, employees are one of the
important assets because they provide assistance in attainment of all the set goals and objectives
in stipulated time frame. Thus, it is important for business organization to provide proper training
and development activities to lower level employees so that they give their best efforts for
accomplishing their goals along with more efficiency level (Salvato and Vassolo, 2018). For this
research, selected business organisation is Starbucks, which is famous American multinational
chain of coffeehouse and roastery. It operates their business over 30000 locations in over the
world in more than 70 countries. Mainly, it serves hot and cold drinks, microground instant
coffee, whole-bean coffee, and many more in market. Company also focus on their lower level
employees and also provide them proper training and development activities as per their
requirements at working area. Furthermore, this research also includes specific aims and
objectives and on the basis of this systematic literature review is also undertake to gather detailed
analysis towards the research topic. Research methodology is also mentioned that provide
framework in which investigator acquire reliable data to draw a valid conclusion.

Justification of the chosen topic
Selected research topic provides vast information to investigator because it related with the
workforce training and development activities that improve productivity of lower level
employees. By undertaking this research, investigator analysis the actual impact of training and
development as how it improves employee’s efficiency towards the allotted task and job roles. In
addition of this, various studies are done over this topic and also provide detailed analysis of how
training help employees in developing their capabilities to accomplishing their targets. With this
assistance of this, business organization is also benefited as various aspects are attained includes
employee engagement, worker’s motivation, enhance employee retention and many more
(Kundu and Lata, 2017). For analyzing all these key words, researcher undertake current
investigation as it also helps them in improving their skills and knowledge towards the specified

research topic and area. Basically, workforce training is one of the important activity as it makes
sure that all the employees are adequately trained in order to meet their personal and production
goals. In business organization, lower level employees are always looking for proper guidance to
execute and perform their job roles. This is the reason that organization provide proper training
and development programs to lower level employees in which they improve their skills and
abilities to do their day to day activities at working area. This can be beneficial in improving
their productivity level and at the same time also enhance overall performance of business
organization.

This investigation is valuable for company and researcher as well because it supports
investigator to develop their career growth by evaluating the actual impact of workforce training
and development on productivity of lower level employees within the business organization. By
analysing entire research activities, researcher determine the effectives ways to improve
reliability level so that accurate results can be easily attained (Putra, Cho and Liu, 2017). As,
current research help researcher and company to understand the effectiveness of providing
workforce training to employee so that they can improve their performance and also tries to find
new and innovative ways to complete their allotted task activities with more effectiveness.
