Off shoringA – Definition Off-shoring is defined as an activity that mainly focuses on the relocation of businessprocess or some supporting processes from one country to another[ CITATION Ber05 \l 1033 ]. B) - Discuss how the concept assists us in understanding the changing nature of workIt is primarily associated with outsourcing supporting services for the organization so thatit may easily assist operations of the business in the domestic and international market outsidethe home country. Therefore, it is stated that offshoring act as the key cause that changes innature of work within the workplace as management engages in conducting outsourcingactivities that need to be successfully implemented within the business processes. For thismanagement requires to establish or build the relationship with external and internal processes sothat it may deliver necessary result in the form of attaining their goals and objectives. Thesignificance of offshoring activities is that it positively indulges in changes in work to exploitinterdependent condition that is faced by the organization such as low cost, high quality, cheaptelecom, etc. 2. Technical and non-technical skills A – Definition Technical skills mainly comprises of knowledge and abilities possessed by individual thatsupport them in conducting scientific, mathematical as well as technological related task withinthe workplace[ CITATION Bai14 \l 1033 ]. On the other hand, non-technical skills mainlyconsist of social, cognitive and personal skills that support the staff within the workplace inperforming their activities. B) - Discuss how the concept assists us in understanding the changing nature of workThrough developing these technical and non-technical skills, people in safety-criticalroles would easily learn how to deal with a range of different situations arises in at workplace. Ithas been assessed that technical and non-technical skills among the workplace support the staffsas well as other employees to perform proper work in their team and in multiculturalenvironment[ CITATION Bal14 \l 1033 ]. It also changes in the nature of work as more steadyand evolutionary so that it may results in expected alteration towards the shift in demography,expertise, organizational structures as well as employment practices 1
