INTRODUCTION Career viewpoint could be defined as the perspective of an individuals towards career so that a person can take corrective action to meet the desired goal or objective. While planning to meet the aim it is very important for all the individuals to make sure that they are able to formulate effective strategies that can help them to reach desired level of success(Albien, 2019). Present report is based upon the job advertisement which was discussed in the CW1. It was related to the post of business development manager. This assignment will cover different topics such as personal analysis, career action plan, CV etc. MAIN BODY Personal analysis Personal analysis could be defined as the process of analysing own skills and qualities so thataperson cangetawareofallthestrengthsandweaknesses. Itcanhelptomake improvements in the skills and abilities so that all the long term goals related to career could be accomplished successfully. It is very important for all the persons to make sure that they are aware of all their weaknesses and strengths as it can help them to meet the future objectives. While planning to achieve all the long as well as short term career goals it is very important for all the individuals to conduct personal analysis(Farrell, 2018). It can help to make improvements in skills and abilities that can result in attainment of all the future objectives. A personal SWOT analysis for me on the basis of my skills and capabilities is conducted below: StrengthsWeaknesses Motivating nature toward others. Qualities of honesty and integrity. Adaptability towards change. Detailedknowledgeoflatest technology. Knowledge of data analysis. Weak time and self management skills. Lack of communication skills. Ineffective leadership qualities. Becauseofweaktimeandself management skills I may face issues in completing all the work in the specific time duration. On the basis of above personal analysis it has been analysed that I need to make improvements in my skills so that I can work properly in the organisation. Currently Tesco is looking for a business development manager and I am willing to apply for the same position. In order to get this job I will be required to make improvements in my skills and overcome all the threats and weaknesses. I will be required to enhance time and self management, leadership, decision making and communication qualities(Ferguson-Patrick, 2018). If I will be able to improve all of them then it can help me to meet the goals of working as the manager in Tesco. All the weaknesses are the areas that are required to be developed by me so that I can meet the career goals in future. If I will be able to improve all the qualities then it can increase the chances of getting the job in Tesco. On the other hand, if the skills will not be improved then it may result in issues for me to get the position of business development manager. Career action plan Career action plan is a type of document which is mainly focused with taking actions in future so that all the weaknesses could be dealt in systematic manner. The career action plan can help to improve the weak skills and qualities so that the goal which is focused by an individual could be accomplished. From the personal analysis of mine it has been analysed that I need to work on various areas and improve different skills of mine so that I can get the job of business development manager in Tesco. For this purpose, I will be required to formula a career action plan that can help me to deal with all my weaknesses and improve my abilities to get the job.
